What did your doctor say? I'm having the same problem. I had sex over the weekend and I felt fine until Tuesday. My pee smells funny and I have a slight burning sensation after urinating. I noticed blood on the toilet paper after wiping. I feel like I have to pee often, but sometimes, only a tiny amount is released. However, I do not have any pain. Do these symptoms sound like Urinary Tract Infection?

I think I have a slightly different problem. Mine started just this morning when i went to the toilet it realy hurt, the pain felt like i needed to wee more but couldnt, and i've been weeing alooottt today which i dont normally do, especialy as i havnt drank much, I also have a bit of pain in my loswer stomach around where my bladder is. The reason im unsure this might be a urine infection or something, is that i've recently started having unprotected sex with my boyfriend (although am on the microgynon pill so pretty sure not pregnant), and he's been saying his penis was realy sore as well,I'm also 99.99999% sure were both clear of STI's. What could this be??? please helpp???

Your symptoms does sound like a bladder infection. I got mine from having using the "pull out" method. The woman's vagina is more sensitive to bacteria so to decrease the risk, both you and your partner should wash before and after sexual intercourse and urinating before and after intercourse (urinating flushes out bacteria). Your boyfriend is probably just sore from the friction. Drinking cranberry juice and eating fruits with vitamin C will make your urine more acidic and kill bacteria in your urethra. Go to the doctor and get antibiotics. You'll be fine in three days.

I just went through months and months of testing for the same thing and it was just hemangioma on my kidney. That may sound really bad but it's not, it's almost like a bruise and doctors aren't real sure why young people get them. If all your tests come back negative for infections, cancers, and stones then you'll have to find a really good urologist to go up into your kidney with a camera and cauterize the hemangioma. It's an outpatient procedure and your be back on your feet iin no time with no more blood. I had to find a doctor who specialized in that area to help me because all the other doctors were blowing it off saying there was no problem, but when you see gross hematuria everytime you pee there is obviously a problem. Don't let anyone blow you off, your health is important, make them keep trying until the problem is solved. Good Luck :-)

The best over-the-counter remedy for any type of bladder infection/UTI are CRANBERRY PILLS, they're sold almost everywhere, and they get rid of infections and pain very quickly. It is also beneficial to use the cranberry (vitamins) because usually when on antibiotics females tend to get bad yeast infections, and just prolong the pain... My advice is to go to the nearest Rite Aid or Walgreens, or where ever different vitamins are sold and get yourself some cranberry pills. Also, the directions may say to take about 6 a day, I feel that is too little, you may want to take about 5 every 2 hours. A lot of cranberry in your system won't do any bad ONLY GOOD!! :)

I had the same problem and after ALOT of tests, scans, 4 months of bleeding progessively getting worse and a urologist who wanted to keep testing I found a great urologist in Philly who went up into my kidney with a camera saw that I had hemangioma and cauterized them with a lazer. I was out of the hospital that day. Look online to find a urologist who specializes in this area. It's your life and you need to make it happen, don't let doctors dismiss you.

I'm 15 and recently, i've been needing to pee more often oddly enough, and even after I feel relieved with using the bathroom, I feel as though I have to use it once more immediately. I recently found that I had a little blood in my urine and I was thinking that it was just my period, so I brushed it off, but I'm not due for it yet. Can someone tell me or at least point me in a direction to see what's wrong?

Well, you could be mesntruating if you're a female, so there's not really much to worry about. If you experience pain through out the 'time of month', that's perfectly normal. :-)

hi i am an 18 yr old female and jus currently started having sex. I had sex 7 times in a day the last time which was monday, throughout the week i have been fine but am now currently experiencing some problems when urinating. Firstly i feel i need to go a lot and when i do go only a bit comes out and i get this strange feeling, i have also seen a bit of blood on the tissue, should i be worried? or is this just a common case of starting sex?

and what was wrong? the samething happend 2 me...

I had it too! It's called honeymoon cystis! It's when you have sex too much when you have a little bit of wee in your bladder. It causes your bladder to get irrated and get infected. I had it reoccuring, but antibiotics cleared it up everytime. I did also have a kidney infection too.

I would say either a kidney infection or problems with your gall bladder. Kidney infections can sometime go under the radar and not show up in urine samples because the infection remains in the kidney, not in the urine. They can go unnoticed or can cause excessive amounts of pain and fatigue. I had the same as you. They said they couldn't find a bladder infection and I had urine samples sent off to test for the type of blood and maybe a sign of a kidney infection. It all came back clear! after two days the blood cleared up and went away. Maybe use antibiotics to assist you if the syptoms persist for a long time. If the blood doesn't clear up after a couple days, or if it comes back, I would say that you definitely have either kidney stones or gall stones, which require CT Scans or Ultrasounds. Goodluck!
