Okay here are a few questions;
I have this extra piece of skin hanging between my vagins lips. (I looked on some websites and realized that its normal.) But, is it normal to have this piece almost covered in white bumps. I just noticed thim today, and who knows how long they've been there. There is tns of them, and it looks like raw chicken skin almost! I'm not comfortable with my mom to ask or show her, so please help me!! I'm 14 and this extra skin has been there as long as I can remember, but I've never actually looked at it until today. I'm not sexually active, though I do masturebate. I also notice that these bumps are sort of on the inner skin of my vagina lips. Like, if I open the lips, I can see a few, but not near as many that are on the extra skin. I've never had any history of infections, but I'm so terrified. As soon as I saw this I began crying. some one please tell me what to do!!
Also!! Is there ANYTHING I can do to remove this extra piece of skin down there? Like shrink it back up or something?? Thanks again!
Please do not be frightened sweetheart. As you are not sexually active, this is not likely to be anything too serious. I need to ask you some personal questions, I hope this is ok? First of all, are you getting any discharge? Is the area itchy or painful or both? Have you noticed your discharge smelling really bad, and if so, what does it smell of? Sorry I have to ask you this, but I am here to help. When I know the answers to these questions, we will know more..
Discharge is that white stuff right? Umm. Sometimes. Not alot though. And I've never really been itchy. And I guess sometimes it smells off, but I can't describe. The smell is very rare though. Will I be okay?!
I asked you all these questions because I needed to know if you had an infection. From what you are telling me you do not have an infection. So we need to find out if what you have is normal. Are the bumps white, pink or red. Do they look sore or not. Also, talking about the extra bits of skin, it all depends on how long they are and if one side is longer than the other. If they are longer than they should be, you can have them trimmed back with surgery. This surgery has very good results, but will only be done in severe cases. Are you too embarassed to go to your doctor? You could see a female doctor, or go to a family planning clinic for advice on what is normal. Hope this helps you, but its really difficult without seing your condition, to know for sure if you have anything wrong or not.
the bumps are white, they do nit look sore, and yes I am very afraid to go to the doctor. There isn't two pieces of skin, just one. And it goes down longer than the lips. I really don't want to tell anybody about this though.
