Yes!!! I just remembered i was chopping green jalapeños! And a few hours later some of my finger tips with alittle area of my palm burn hot bad! Only relief is anything cold on them.

Yes I was chopping chilis as well but I didn't feel anything until after a couple hours right when I was going to bed it felt like my blood was boiling in my fingertips had to dunk my hand in ice for 2 hours
i'm having the same sensation in my fingertips right now and come to think of it, i was cutting up jalapeno's this morning! This could be the possible culprit after all!
Omggg. I was about to freak out. Just got out of the bath and my 3 fingers on my left hand are on fire. Then I continued to scroll and I too, cooked with chilies about 3 hours ago.
So glad to know this is what's wrong with my fingers! I thought I'd done some serious nerve damage but tonight I made stuffed jalapeño poppers & hours later, my fingers are burning like crazy! Never dreamed that could happen! Hope it goes away within couple days! Thank you all
I just got out of the shower and am sitting down watching tv. Started feeling a stinging feeling on my left hand finger tips. Same exact feeling you have when you burn your self cooking. Maybe not as bad but closest comparison. I cooked tacos last night and sliced many spicy jalapeños. I even had one left over taco for dinner and pulled a few slices out of a bag and put it on my taco. Gotta love the internet. I'm going to go to bed not worried. Thank goodness.
Hi, same case here started cooking from last week that includes cutting chillies everyday. Interestingly left hand first three fingers beginning from thumb are having burning sensation.
Holy cow I was so worried(still am a little not going to lie) I did chop a jalapeño for my pico de gallo too and the next morning after getting my hands wet my fingers were burninggg I got so worried and yet its 7:25pm and they still burning after my shower I hope its gone by tomorrow because my anxiety is over the roof with this feelimg . glad I'm not the only one though lol

Wow this is seriously funny. I was honestly getting worried because my first three fingers are burning like crazy on both hands but sure enough.... I made chili last night and used lots of jalapeños! Glad it's nothing serious. Internet win! I'm glad I didn't go to the doctor!

Omg you totally get me the middle finger and the other two beside it. I don't thinks it's anything to worry about but just move your hand in a circular motion just to get blood flow everywhere
Just started happening to me and was really concerned. Started reading a lot of different disorders, but finally got the solution. It was all in the JALAPENOS business lol. I chopped some jalapenos last night and for dinner today. That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for this post.
