Hi Guest

It is normal that you have that stuff under your foreskin.
It will be very sensitive to the touch since you are just starting to expose the head of your penis.
Now that you are able to retract your foreskin some you have to make cleaning it part of your daily routine.
Use a mild soap like a baby soap that is gentle on the skin using baby oil after will help also.
Keep working on retracting your fore skin gently and make sure clean it well and rinse and dry everything.

Hello,
I'm 15 but soon turning 16.I have seen a lot of things about this subject, but how do you exactly clean it? Am i supposed to scrape it off or what?.
Also, when i pull my foreskin, half of it ''detaches'' off the head, but some of it looks glued to the smegma which is glued to the head.Should i pull my foreskin even more?
Thanks for answering.

The easiest way to get your foreskin to detach from the glands is when you need to pee go take a shower once in the shower pinch the end of your foreskin shut then start to pee so your foreskin starts to balloon out, when you feel like it's going to burst stop peeing and just hold it shut for a few minutes then release and repeat a couple times if you can. Before you pull your foreskin back to clean massage the glands through your foreskin for a while and that should help loosen the smegma enough to help you clean it off by gently rubbing.
If you would like any more advice feel free to ask.

I think that my last part doesn't matter anymore but right now i have my foreskin retracted and the head is left open so by touching the clothing(my underwear if it isn't obvious) it will be less sensitive. Actually, it wasn't too sensitive in the first place because i can dry it with an towel or have water showering the head. Maybe this way i will just rub the smegma.

I also have 2 questions out of curiosity:
1. I've seen that olive oil can get the smegma loose. True or false?
2. If a guy doesn't clean the smegma but is able to retract his foreskin, what happens when he has sex?

You can just soak the glands in water or rub fact oil into it that will help soften the smegma and make it easier to clean off.

Olive oil will help soften it but baby oil will be better as it's actually ment for the skin, nothing will happen only look unsightly and probably rub off during sex but would you want to have sex with a girl if her labia had smegma between it?

Not really. Again, i was asking out of curiosity.

I have this same problem and I tried to wash it away in the shower with shampoo and it really hurt and felt weird (also first time peeling back foreskin) should I just try again?

Hi Guest

Yes now that you can retract your foreskin you should clean it every day.
Shampoo is harsh and can irritate your skin it would be better to use baby soap or baby shampoo.
You could also put a bit of baby oil on it after you clean it.
It will be really sensitive to touch and wash for awhile it will get better as you continue to clean your penis.

I had phimosis and to treat this I had to pull it back a certain distance and every night I was told to go a little farther and my phimosis is gone but those clusters were there and i didn’t know what to do so I tried to wash is away but because it was the first time retracting my foreskin my glans were really sensitive and I don’t know how to make them less sensitive or should I just leave it and let it toughen up when I’m in the shower and cleaning or what

Everyone has that problem with sensitivity when first pulling the foreskin back and can take some time for it to fully disappear altogether, what you can do to help remove it is to gently rub baby oil into the areas affected and this will help to soften it and make it easier to wash away.

This page really really helped me even though it’s over a year old it is still really helpful because when I first pulled back my foreskin I didn’t know what I was looking at so I left it alone until I looked up what it was and this page came up so thanks again even though they are old messages they still helped tremendously
