Hi,
Been to see the doctor today and been referred to urologist for frenuloplasty.
Anyone had this procedure done and if so can you tell me your experience of it please? Did you have general or local anaesthetic, did it hurt afterwards, did you pull the skin back straight away and what's it like when healed?
Thanks.

I didn't have it done, mine kind of did itself. It kept tearing during sex until it just isn't there anymore. The first time it happened the ends healed together and it was shorter (tighter) than before so the next time it happened I put toilet paper on the cut to keep the ends from going back together. That left it looser than before and was much better. This happened a few more times so now it's just gone completely and that's what I want to tell you about.
The pain I had from this wasn't bad at all and it always healed in a few days so I would think there wouldn't be much pain when it's done by a doctor.
It is so nice to be able to pull my foreskin all the way back with nothing pulling or hurting. I would suggest that you talk to the doctor who is going to do the job and make sure he/she knows exactly what you want for results. A great part of your sexual pleasure comes from the fact that the inner foreskin is stretch sensitive so it gives you much pleasure from the stretching. You can't get that if something is keeping it from going all the way back so it hurts to stretch it.
The fact that your penis can roll in and out of your foreskin easily while inside the vagina adds to your partners pleasure also.
So from my point of view, make sure he/she removes it completely so there will be nothing pulling against you when you pull it back.

had it done when i was 17. general anaesthetic. didn't hurt, made a hell of an improvement. worst pain was it felt like thre was a couple grains of sand stuck under my foreskin (that would be the dissolvable stitches then!)
