For the last week or so I have been experiencing sharp/stabbing pains in my upper right abdomen. I have also been having sharp/stabbing pains in my back on the right side. Sometimes they happen together, and other times it's one or the other. I have read so many different sympotoms that are involved with a bad gall bladder but I am still unsure. I plan on calling my doctor but it takes so long to get in that I am wondering if I shouldn't just go into the ER. The pain is not persistent, but it happens all throughout the day. Any suggestions??
Thanks ;-)
Thanks ;-)
Hi redhot,
It could be your gallbladder. Call the doctor and make an appointment. Then if your pain does get worse go to the ER.
How has the color of your stools been? Chalky or very light usually indicates a problem.
You need an exam and tests, some form of imaging, either ultrasound or CT scan as well.
Hope it helps.
