I don't know if you still want a reply but my husband was diagnosed with this type of cancer this January. He seems to do better all the time. I feel that is because we are actively juicing and taking a product called Barley Life. It is one of the best immune system boosters known to man. He has just had his third round of chemo treatments. They are helping as well and he will continue with them. We are also in Canada.

Hello, my mother too has been diagnosed with GBC. She has just undergone surgery to remove her gallbladder, some of her bile duct, liver and lymph nodes. However with the lymph nodes we have been told that there are a few left behind. I would like to know if anyone has researched or used any alternative treatment and also what dietary changes are recommended. I am very grateful for your time and any advice that you may be able to offer. Nadia

I also have had my gall bladder removed because it had tumors blocking my main ducts. Along with this, 75% of my liver was removed because the tumors had become cancerous and had moved up into my liver and down to my small intestine, which they removed a part of.
I was in the hospital for 15 days healing after surgery. In the meantime, I had lost 45 lbs. as I had lost my appetite and was eating very little. It has been six months and I have gained about 3 or 4 lbs. but I still have a ways to go. I was told that it may even take up to a year to feel normal again. I do stay away from OTC medication (for Arthritis), as I think that this is what may have caused my gall bladder & liver problems. To this day, I don't even take aspirin. I hope your Mom gets well and stays on top of this. Find a good reputable surgeon if her lymph nodes have been infected because that is very serious and almost always fatal. Good luck!!

Please tell your mother to go to Canceer Treatment Centers of America.

Best option. God has decreed death. Eventual it is but God needed her in a hurry. My wife lived only 5 months. Chemotherapy filled her last days with immense pain. Of course lined the pocket of the doctors and hospitals. Sunil Prakash.
