Hi  I have been searching for information on the relation between gallbladder and headaches.  About 3 1/2 yrs ago I had ultrasound and hyda scan and found that my gallbladder was not working to it's full.  At the time, Dr. said it was up to me to have it out or wait. At that time I said wait, as the symptoms were not bad.  At the time I also had a very stressful job and shortly after the tests, I quit and started to feel much better.  I also lost some weight and that probably helped.  Now...I have gained that wt back and the last several months am seeing some of the same symptoms and seem to be getting gradually worse.  Strange things though, I don't know if they are related.  My headache feels like a sinus headache.  My throat hurts, but not on the inside.  It's more like in the glands in my neck.  Also my ears feel slight hurt, kind of a pressure feeling.  I feel really wiped out and kind of achy all over.  Thought I had sinus infection, but Dr. was not convinced of that, but put me on antibiotic, but symptoms stayed the same.  I can for sure feel the typical gallbladder pain.  It's not real bad, but I feel it in my right upper ribs, around the the back, right shoulder.  My BM's have been more frequent, but only small amounts, and it is acidy...my bottom is starting to get a little raw.  So some of the symptoms are kind of obvious, and some have me wondering

So sorry to hear of all your symptoms though at the same time relieved to hear I'm not the only one!!!!! Aside from the mucus ..it could be me!! Been so low for so long with it all...say I'm fine all the time to people who no doubt think I'm a hypochondriac as there are odd rare days when I reek ok-ish and try to get out n about n live my life! Have given up on the GPs n trying a herbalist ...everything he said made perfect sense re headaches/ muscle pain/ gall bladder connection....feeling encouraged that someone takes it seriously and can offer help...good luck to you I hope you can find someone to help you .x

I have all of the same symptoms that you mentioned. And my ejection fraction was 10%. I have gained 24 pounds in the last 8 months, and unfortunately increased activity and clean diet is not helping. I feel miserable. I was wondering if you decided to have surgery, and if so, did it help? Thanks.

I read your post. I have been diagnosed with biliary dyskinesia and I have very similar symptoms...weight gain (24 pounds in 8 months), severe bloating and fatigue. I am miserable. Did you have any relief after surgery? Thanks

Hi, I too thought I was going crazy as I have all the same symptoms, brain fog, headaches, fatigue, hair loss, and gallstones. I thought it was my thyroid but the tests came back clear. I am getting my gall bladder removed in the new year hopefully I will feel alive again

Before any of you had your gall bladders out were you diagnosed after ultrasound with sludge in your GB or did any of you have yellow stool? This is my case and has been since the birth of my first child 16 years ago. I gained about 50lbs after his birth and am still over weight. I am wondering if my body is behaving like I had my gall bladder out, it clearly isn't getting much bile if my stool is the colour it is. GB is starting to bother me now, I have some stone now a dull ache under my ribs, a lot of shoulder blade pain daily and many head aches. I think they are going to say it needs to come out. Do you think I will gain more weight or will I lose cause my digestion will now be able to get bile. Do you gain weight from too little or too much bile? Thoughts?  So many people have posted here but didn't come back to post after their surgeries, if you have had the surgery would love to hear about changes in your symptoms and weight gain or loss.  I didn't realize til reading this thread that my thinning hair was related

If it is not your gallbladder, ask to have bllod work or scan for carcinoid. Rare tumor that can cause many of your symptoms. There are very specific tests that need to be run. Good luck!

I too suffer from Gallbladder issues. I have neck pain, severe headaches, nausea, fatigue and hair loss. I first went to Doctor for headaches and they ran all kinds of test (CT scan and lab) then put me on Topamax. Worse medicine I've ever been prescribed. It only made it worse and increased my Gerd issues. Finally got really sick last week. Fever, body hurt all over and headaches. Had more test and found out I had gallstones. Surgery is this week. I hope this fixes all my ailments.
