Personally, I have a headache and nausea almost every day and am scheduled t have my gallbladder removed on Tuesday. I have gained weight - am losing hair - have constant headaches that won't go away - and generally just don't feel well at all. I have only had 2 painful attacks and they did not last. But I am full of stones. I am so tired of being sick!!!
I have the same thing and I know when I need to do a gallbladder cleanse. My sinus headache feels like it's going to blow up I do a cleanse and it clears .
I just had my gallbladder out a week ago. I'm an RN and have suffered migraines/ headaches for most of my adult life. I haven't had a single headache since my surgery one week ago! I am not on any pain meds either. I ran across this blog trying to see of others were cured of headaches following a lap cholecystectomy. It is just so strange for me and I'm not sure if it will last, but I am glad that my bad gallbladder, stone and headaches are gone! Worth it! Btw I came home 2 hours after the surgery. Did all of my regular house chores the next morning although I had some pain. But not terrible.
Did you have your gallbladder out and has this helped?
How are you feeling now?
I had a month were I could barely eat because of my gallbladder attack. It took three trips to the ER in a month before they took me seriously. Because I was pregnant, they told me it was morning sickness and that my shoulder pain and chest pain were just my body getting dehydrated. (I barely had morning sickness and I was in my second trimester) On the third visit, I had been throwing up for 24 hrs and the nurses had to meet me in the parking lot because I couldn't move. The pain was unbearable and I was ready to give up. After four hours of being pumped with three different medications for nausea, they finally did some tests and found out I had a large mass of gallstones. They sent me to another hospital who take way better care of me (and actually knew how to do an ultrasound, the other didn't). I ended up having two surgeries. First was flushing out the gallstones and the second was to remove the gallbladder entirely. The doctor said I had nearly 100 stones in my bile duct. He'd never seen anything like it before. I was in the hospital for nearly a week. Oh, and I was 24 at the time. I'd honestly find another doctor. Also, thinking back on things, I've always had similar pains since I was 17-18 but they never went got that bad. And I almost never have headache now when use to I couldn't go a week without having one. Maybe there was a connection.

Hey there! Don't be afraid. The Cholecystectomy is nothing to be afraid of. I know because I just had one 2 weeks ago. I was scared to death, probably simply because of the unknown, like yourself. But they gave me a really nice sedative so I didn't care. Just 4 little holes they just taped shut. They were healed completely in a week. Now, I did have some pain after the surgery from the trapped gas, but they hit me with pain killers through my I.V. pretty quick. Once I got up and walking around that started to get better too. They gave me strong pain killers, but I only took 6 of them. Didn't need them anusiny further than that. My pain is gone, the sick is gone and I feel absolutely amazing. The best part is it's only been 2 weeks and I'm already back to life as usual. The only problem I have now is my intestines getting used to no gall bladder storing bile. It dumps into my intestines more which causes some... uh-hem... difficulties, but nothing that can't be remedied with a little Imodium. I'm told this too will pass as the weeks go by. Get that surgery! Get your life back! It's cool. ;)
Oh dear, PLEASE have your gall bladder looked at!
I have them systoms to and had my thyoid checked and all ok
I do get the headache the sharp pain in the middle like a kive hit me it gave me the runnsand the chills and shakes but the wost of all is sharp pain that goes to your chest it is by far the most scarry thing i have inconterd
so heres my story,i woke up one night about 3 months ago with acid backed up in my mouth so much i was choking on it .sore throat to the point where it felt it was closing up.probably from being burned.so i made an appt with my doctor next morning who said i had acid reflux.she gave me zantac300 to take at night.started tohelp some after a couple days .i started on a bland diet at that time.within a couple weeks i started feeling naeseas all the time and urq pain.so i was back at the dr office who then decided i had gerd.continueing pain accompanied by headache and backache landed me at urgent care a couple a weeks later .o and i did see specialist who thought i had h pylori infection during this time .that was negative and i went for barium swallow which shoed a small hiatal hernia which i was told should not cause symptoms.anyway back to landing at urgent care.this dr actually listened to what i was saying and said emmediately that it sounded like my gall bladder.40s fertile and female is what he said.so he sent me foe an ultrasound which came up negative for stones .i was still in terrible pain and made appt with my regular dr next day .i told her what er dr had said and i was still hurting so she scheduled HIDA scan in a weeks time.had to wait 4 days more for results .mind you it is now march.my results came back back with ejection fraction of 8% .my gallbladder is c**p.so persistence is definetly key and second opinions for sure .i am still in agony awaiting my surgery which has been scheduled now for march 28th.what a long horible road .i dont wish it on anyone .its amazing how many things in our bodies can be affected by one seemingly insignificant organ.if that sucker goes bad its demonic really .it can hurt in so many places.if you have symptoms keep pushing drs to check because it only gets worse .i have lost almost 30 pounds and have anorexia but not by choice .it hurts when i eat almost anything.im borrowing clothes from my 13 year old daughter .i am italian and i love food .i cant wait to eat again even if i have to eat lowfat .anything is better than this hell.6 more days til i evict that demon gallbladder.my fingers are crossed.i know a lot of people who have had theirs out and they all say i will feel way better .i cant wait .good luck to all of you .andYES i get headaches all day and night.
