Hi,

I have been using Gold Bond powder because I'm itchy all the time (allergies), and because I hate thigh sweat in the summer (overweight=chub rub).

I don't know exactly how to describe this, but you know that area where your legs and your stomach and all that come together? Inner thigh? Leg pits? Anyway, I put Gold Bond there, and because I'm overweight, it sort of stays there. So now on these inside corners of my legs and spreading on to like, the skin of my nether regions, I have not a rash, but peeling skin that is reddish/purple. It actually appears as if my skin has been burned off. It's not happening anywhere else on my body where I've put the Gold Bond.

My question, after all that, is this - has anyone experienced this? Do you think the irritation is because of the Gold Bond, even though I didn't have that reaction anywhere else? I put Neosporin on it, so hopefully it will get better - but I have a feeling that because I'm overweight and that area is covered by chub and not open to air, it's just going to become worse.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
I too am overweight and use gold bond from time to time, my gyn told me that when I had peeling there it was a yeast infection. I use lotramin cream and it went away but be careful not to get it in your sensitive area.

i have the same problem i've been putting gold bon on my inner thighs for a while because when i work my skin gets irritated there, but recently it started making the skin peel on both my inner thighs close to the unit and i bought tinaction and am spraying it on, but don't know if it's helping or making it worse. What should i do? i'm miserable and feels like when im walking my skin is ripping.

Can anyone help?
