I did a massive dietary breakdown as well, even though I was eating well, to eliminate any possibilities. Ladies, 18-24 can be a strange hormonal period so really try and see if the worst of your symptoms surround your period times.
Suggestions:
-If you are using ANY FORM of Birth Control, get off it right away and do a test period
-Allergy and Sensitivities testing
-Probiotics and Apple Cider Vinegar use
-Break from Alcohol
-Widespread blood test
-MSG Food Awareness
I was finally diagnosed with period-related Hemiplegic Migraines and severe acid reflux. I was also extremely sensitive to MSG which would give me panic attacks. You may be experiencing a couple things at once just making you feel terrible.
A note of hope: I can now eat things with small amounts of MSG. I've stayed off the BC pill- I take PMS pills first/second day and accept that I'll feel pretty strange. It passes.
Good luck.
I absolutely have all of those symptoms and it's getting ridiculous. They have done blood work that revealed I have h.pylori and mono... really? I am nauseated every day and I do know that is most likely from the h.pylori which is a bad bacteria that was on something I ate. I am 53 years old so I feel for you being so young. I have not been to work but 1 time in a month. I am worn out all of the time, I get stomach pains, abdominal pain and now these headaches all of the sudden. Unfortunately I do not have insurance so have to go to the local community center which don't get me wrong I am so very thankful for it. Anyway, I am doing some research right now and that is how I found your post. If you find out any other info, please let me know and I'll do the same.

I definitely agree that proper nutrition would help most of the symptoms discussed. Nowadays we eat way too much processed food and cook it in microwaves. Try to stick with healthy, natural one item foods and eat less processed and sugar. That may help. The more veggies and fruits, the better.
I have very similar symptoms and I'm also a young woman (21). The headaches for me are more rare but when I get one it's usually behind my right eye and hard to get rid of. I'm curious, for any of you, did your symptoms start out with a viral illness? I'm thinking we might all have chronic Epstein-Barr virus. EBV is the ONLY thing doctors have found in my blood and I have been checked for lyme disease, thyroid problems, autoimmune disease, celiac disease, the whole nine yards. Even all my levels like sodium, potassium, iron, B12, etc. are PERFECT, so according to my blood I should be healthy as a horse! But I feel terrible.
In April I got a virus with headache, fatigue, severe soreness in my back and ribs, nausea and vomiting, etc. Got better for two weeks and then I had what seemed more like a stomach virus, it was the same symptoms without the body aches and with more stomach problems. Also was dizzy and lightheaded pretty much all the time. After that it was those same symptoms off and on, with really good days and really bad days. For a while I was waking up with horrible nausea every single morning and vomiting most of the time, thankfully that has gone away. It's now December and my main symptoms are waves of fatigue and lightheadness, IBS-like symptoms (urgent need to use the bathroom when I wake up every day and lots of gas and bloating). Some days I belch constantly, and sometimes the gas pain gets so bad I can't move. But I've been checked for H pylori, had my gallbladder, liver, pancreas, etc. all looked at, everything looks perfect. I don't fit the symptoms for any specific GI disorder either. And I get heart palpitations sometimes, especially during my period.
If anyone could help me that would be wonderful! I'm still in school for now but only because I'm taking online classes. I have one more semester and after that there are no more online classes I can take, so if I'm not better by August I will have to drop out.
I can certainly empathise with many people who have posted here. I have many of the same symptoms and some of them have been around for 15 years (I'm 31).
Doctors can be horrible creatures when it's not a simple black and white answer. Not ONE doctor has actually listened to each of the symptoms. I have taken to researching myself and changing doctors, and both of these things receive a lot of criticism from doctors and cynical family and friends. And now I see some discarding statements from posters on here ("it's depression! it's anxiety!").
I still don't know what's wrong with me (although I only recently started trying to work it out when the symptoms, which worsened so slowly over the past 15 years that it took ages to notice). I'm not going to give up.
Here's a few things you may wish to be tested for:
- Adrenal Fatigue (not just Addison's Disease, there are other causes)
- Pituitary gland dysfuction or tumor
- Heart Disease
- Sleep disorders (especially sleep apnea)
I am quite open to alternative therapies, and I have found an amazing practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine who is treating me while I continue to search for an answer from Western Medicine. He has diagnosed me with a Yang Deficiency and says that it's fixable. The treatments are certainly helping with energy levels and digestion in the meantime, but I'm not able to do any exercise and have to stay away from cold climates/drinks and raw and cold foods while I'm being treated. I have used acupunture before and find it quite effective.
Anyway, I just wanted to share because I know I feel like I go to the Doctors and they seem to imply that I WANT something to be wrong with me. The simple fact is that there IS something wrong with me, and I just need help to figure out what it is so I can stop having something wrong with me. I know you know what I mean ;-)
Best of luck in your journey to find out how to improve your health. I know one day we'll each find out what it is and fix it right up :-) Try not to let the cynics get you down... Haters gonna hate! :-|
Are you eating foods that contain Splenda which is also called sucralose, and aspartame?
Stay away from processed food(frozen dinners, pop, white flour, and most of all SUGAR!
