I am 19 years old and I have had severe migraine headaches along with a constant feeling of tiredness for as long as I can remember. When I was 13 I had a concussion and ever since then the headaches never go away. The doctor's don't know why I always get headaches. They say it's because of stress but even when I am having a good time, an annoying headache will come along and ruin everything. Just recently my doctor perscribed me with caffine pills for my headaches, they have helped a little bit but I still have these headaches. Most of the time it isn't just my head, it's my neck, the top of my back, or right above my eyes. I would really like relief to these headaches.
For the past week, I have been getting severe headaches, the light bothers me.
it hurts so bad on the left or right side of my head, in different days
and the pain reaches the eye on the side it is on.
i cannot sleep in my new room, i always wake up 2-3 times a night.
even with tons of sleep, i wake up still exhausted.
like, painfully tired. and i never get that way, EVER.
3 months ago, i could stay up to 1 am and get ready for school full of energy.
i do not know what is going on
Hi. I had so many problems such as what you all are experiencing and had to MRI's, ct-scans, bloodwork, xrays, etc. Come to find out, I have TMJ disorder. The dentist/tmj specialist I went to gave me a bite splint-not the regular kind you get from a normal dentist or to buy at the store. I had tmj headaches so badly that I lost my job. I had nausea/vomiting, blurred vision, my head would go numb and once I thought Id even had a stroke. I was so scared. I felt tired all the time and would drop stuff because my nerves were effected by this. I went to an orthodontist who had referred me to this doctor. Here is the website for the dentist I went to explaining more.

If you are close to this doctor, please give him a try. there is also a headache specialist in memphis as well. Im sure there are more dentists/specialists available somewhere that can help. I hope this info helps you guys too. I went from having dr's tell me I had allergies, needed new glasses, and that it was all in my head and there was nothing wrong. The pain wasnt even touched by Vicodin. I was walking around fine with Lorcet after it knocked the pain. I rarely get headaches from the TMJ now, only when the barametric pressure changes, but when I do, I have to opt for stronger meds such as percocet which sometimes still doesnt knock it, but it usually does. The doctor, who I posted a website for, told me my jaw is deteriorating and, in 2006, was like a 50-60 yr old womans jaw. I was only 31 at that time. He said it is from all the pressure and grinding and abnormalities in my jaw line. Before seeing him, I had headaches that would last for a few days at a time to having headaches several times a day. Since getting the device splint in my mouth, I have only a handful a year and not nearly as horrific as they used to be.
Go check him out!
