I'm a 15 year old boy and i've just recovered from a cluster migraine attack last week, i had 8 in the space of two weeks, they seemed to get milder as each one passed, but after the last one, i've been left with a faded blind spot in the focus of my eye, it stays there in darker atmospheres, but when in bright light i can see fine, i also am extremely tired constantly, no matter how much sleep i get i am always exhausted, i have mild headaches in my temples and behind my eyes, but that has only started in the past 3 or 4 days and has stayed through all conscious moments, my eyes are also extremely sore, and i have trouble looking at screens for prolonged periods of time in fear of another migraine attack, migraines run in my family but are not accompanied by these strange after effects,

thanks

okay so I am a male and I have been having the same thing go on with me and I'm only 13 I have no clue how to bring this up with my parents they always think I am lying. Even know while I am writing this my head feels like someone is putting a node threw my head. Sometimes it hurts so bad that I want to just burst into tears. I have a few times. And I have been sleep perfectly fine but when I wake up I tend to feel very tired and lazy threw out the day like I just want to pass out it's been going on for about 3 or 4 months. Ugh I'm in so much pain. But when I have usual head aches before I had this problem my head would burn up but now it's either feels cold or normal even though it feels like it's boiling in hot biting water. Of you know anything to help please let me know I can't do this any longer.

I just want you to know the amitritiline (sorry about spelling) may work for a while, but it is not a cure at all. I was put on it when I was probably about fifteen, actually. It helped some with headaches, but I still got them a lot. Then, I started getting them just as much as I had before the medicine. It is actually a antidepressant, not a headache medicine.

I am reseaching some of these same symptoms that my daughter has been experiencing - i have stumbled across CSF leak - cerebral spinal fluid leak...and have heard that a full body MRI is sometimes needed to find the location of the leak...check into it if you suffer headaches whiled in an upright position, numbness in hands or face, ringing in ears or loss of hearing, neck pain or soreness. It is cureable. Hope this can help some of you - good luck

My headahes are constant and have been happening everysingle day for the last month or two. I have no idea what this could be, but I'm not sure how much longer I can take it. I am 13 years old, I have been having really bad headaches, my ears sometimes ring and I get a pain near the back of my ear often, I have been very tired lately, I go to bed at literally around 7pm every night and wake up around 6:30am for school every morning. I am dizzy when I stand or turn my head to fast. Also if I get up to fast my eyes black out and I get a sharp pain in the back sometimes front portion of my head, the black out of my sight lasts for a minute sometimes 2. It also happens at random times during the day. I'm just worried I will fall down the stairs one time, I've come close. I don't know what to do and I'm very worried.... help?

I too, have all those symptoms - minus the bleeding - though my headaches occur more at the front of my head (near temples, and across forehead) and are servere all day from when i wake up, and they keep me up most of the night, im probably getting around 3-4hrs sleep max every night, but when im asleep, its as though im dead. But then randomly fade back ino life, waking up during my 3-4hrs sleep.... My face (mainly lips, cheeks and sometimes eyes) puff up alot! Through the day, i can feel when theyre about to swell up, the pain is excruitating, and im taking these Heron Blue tablets that are spose to stop swelling, and control pain (but ofcourse, ots really not helping) All this has been going on for about 2weeks now, and my bosses are noticing changed at work, and a couple of shifts ive had to go home 'sick' because they got so bad. i saw a doctor about my mental health about a week ago, and also asked about these symptoms. I was diagnosed with Clinical depression, anxiety, social anxiety, agrophobia and insomnia. Doctor said that the swelling was probably caused by something that im eating/drinking differently/allergies (in which, ive drank/eaten NOTHING different, and as far as i know, im not allergic to anything) when i was younger i had glandular fever really badly, i had 3months off school, had a really bad rash from head to toe and felt hot and cold flushes constantly and all other symptoms of glandular fever........i saw many doctors then, got alot of blood tests, was taking a variety of medications and doctors thought yet again tht i was alergic to somwthing - which i wasnt. My doctor thought that the headaches were caused by strain on my eyes, and so an appointment was arranged at an optomitrist for the next day, i had my eyes checked, and the lady said my eyes and at the back of my eyes and that were completely healthy, so the headaches have nothing to do with that. Im scared it could be a tumor, my sisters friend had some sinilar symptoms to which im having, and he died from having a brain tumor. I go back to the doctors in 2 weeks, but im not sure if i can keep putting up with these headaches and swelling. The depression, anxiet, agrophobia and insomnia is difficult enough as it is.... If anyone has advice or anything, PLEASE, comment back to this, would muchly be appreciated. Thanks, Browny

I am 19 years old and I have had severe migraine headaches along with a constant feeling of tiredness for as long as I can remember. When I was 13 I had a concussion and ever since then the headaches never go away. The doctor's don't know why I always get headaches. They say it's because of stress but even when I am having a good time, an annoying headache will come along and ruin everything. Just recently my doctor perscribed me with caffine pills for my headaches, they have helped a little bit but I still have these headaches. Most of the time it isn't just my head, it's my neck, the top of my back, or right above my eyes. I would really like relief to these headaches.

I am 18 years old. I just moved into this new apartment, its a very old home.
For the past week, I have been getting severe headaches, the light bothers me.
it hurts so bad on the left or right side of my head, in different days
and the pain reaches the eye on the side it is on.
i cannot sleep in my new room, i always wake up 2-3 times a night.
even with tons of sleep, i wake up still exhausted.
like, painfully tired. and i never get that way, EVER.
3 months ago, i could stay up to 1 am and get ready for school full of energy.
i do not know what is going on

Hi. I had so many problems such as what you all are experiencing and had to MRI's, ct-scans, bloodwork, xrays, etc.  Come to find out, I have TMJ disorder.  The dentist/tmj specialist I went to gave me a bite splint-not the regular kind you get from a normal dentist or to buy at the store.  I had tmj headaches so badly that I lost my job. I had nausea/vomiting, blurred vision, my head would go numb and once I thought Id even had a stroke.  I was so scared.  I felt tired all the time and would drop stuff because my nerves were effected by this.   I went to an orthodontist who had referred me to this doctor.  Here is the website for the dentist I went to explaining more.

If you are close to this doctor, please give him a try.  there is also a headache specialist in memphis as well.  Im sure there are more dentists/specialists available somewhere that can help.   I hope this info helps you guys too. I went from having dr's tell me I had allergies, needed new glasses, and that it was all in my head and there was nothing wrong.  The pain wasnt even touched by Vicodin.  I was walking around fine with Lorcet after it knocked the pain.  I rarely get headaches from the TMJ now, only when the barametric pressure changes, but when I do, I have to opt for stronger meds such as percocet which sometimes still doesnt knock it, but it usually does.  The doctor, who I posted a website for, told me my jaw is deteriorating and, in 2006, was like a 50-60 yr old womans jaw.  I was only 31 at that time. He said it is from all the pressure and grinding and abnormalities in my jaw line.  Before seeing him, I had headaches that would last for a few days at a time to having headaches several times a day.  Since getting the device splint in my mouth, I have only a handful a year and not nearly as horrific as they used to be.

Go check him out!
