I started masturbating when i was 16 and now i am 19 and them headaches happen everytime i masturbate. Masturbating should be a pleasure, not a pain! :(

No no no there's nothing wrong with it, you just have to relax while doing it and don't hold your breath etc :)

I've had this before, around late May of last year - right as I came I got a flash of pain followed by a dull headache behind my eyes. The next day when I woke up it blossomed into a full-blown crippling migraine, with fatigue, vomiting, and floaters, lasting almost three days. Never went to the doctor - it was the week of my high school graduation so I soldiered on. My advice would be to abstain for a while (I went about a month but a week is fine too), and drink lots of water and Gatorade during the headache period.

 

This sounds odd, but now that I've started up again and have been going for six months or so, I sometimes get the hint of a headache while jacking it, but it immediately GOES AWAY after I come. Since that is similar to a previous experience, should I have it checked out? If I do is it crucial to mention it was brought on by jerking?

Guys...I'm a 37 yr old woman and this just started for me...it is excruciating and painful and. I have to stop...ts happened twice this week and it scares me a bit. I breathe a lot but steady because it tends to help me orgasm . I think I will speak with a Dr about it!!!

Im 20 years old. I just returned from an area of the world at 8,500 ft elevation. While I live at just 300 ft elevation. It was the first time i had masturbated in a month. Drink more fluids, you are probably dehydrated to begin with. Your headache also more than likely started before your masterbation session as a result from a lack of fluids in your body. Remember that an erection is an increase of blood flow to that part of your body so if you are lacking in the hydration department, your going to get a headache. So drink pleanty of fluids, take a nap and try again later.

Well it happened to me when I was 18 the inital headache lasted 11 hours and it was severe enough to send me to the ER. I was crying and throwing up. They had to put under to relieve the pain. Doctors could not find one thing wrong with me. The headaches came back everyday for 7 months and I didn't even have to touch myself for them to start. Around month 3 or 4 I saw a chiropractor and he found the problem in my spine. Due to sports, heavy lifting, horse play ect. It had thrown the curve of neck off by about 25 degree resulting in my spine rubbing against nerves. I'm 20 now and still have problems a couple times a month but nothing as bad as before.

Ok, I have a quick way to help with the headache, when you get it, tilt your head back as far as possible, and close ur eyes with your fingers or something cool gently pressed against your eyelids, it really helps!

i have the same issue, right when it is about to blow i get the biggest headache I've ever had and you can tell it is different than others. I've researched into this and found that it is called COITAL CEPHALAGIA, headaches due to excessive sexual activity including masturbation. my plans are to just lay off beating it for a while and refrain from sex with my gal for about a week. wish me luck!!

I just had this problem for the first time and the pain is horrible I have never had that kind of an headache...Thank god it was most painful for the first hours then it got better. And its has been a little bit better but now it has started again.

Seems to me that it occurs , when you have 2 or more sexual activities in a short time , and or slightly dehydrated and arent getting enough air intake,

 

try leaving at least several hours between sexual acts, and stay hydrated (drink water) and make sure you are breathing correctly.
