anaemia has to do with red blood cells.
you blood has a decreased red blood cell count.
your blood can also carries less iron than is sufficient for you body.
this can be fixed by a course of iron pills or an iron injection.
see you doctor about it though.

I am 15 years old and also experiance my heart beating fast ocassionaly. I went to the hospital a few times and they said it was tachycardia. They did nothing for it because it eventually goes back to normal. I also learned how to stop it the same way. I also ocationaly have dizzyness when i stand up, but not as bad as you.
I know this might be an older post, but I wanted to respond in case someone looks it up.
Anemia CAN BE life threatening. It really depends on the type you have. There are many types and not all have to do with white blood cells reproducing.
Please know what kind you are talking about before you give advice that might be false. My cousin has sickle cell anemia. You can die from it.

If gassy and I bend, that can trigger a racing heart right away. Latley if I'm very gassy and feeling full in my
stomach area and lay down, I can get skipping beats which sometime lead to the racing heart. So then I sit up
and try to let the gas work through. Every time I search about this problem which I have had off and on for
years I find more people with the same symptoms. Yet every doctor, including specialists seems to act like they
have never heard of this problem. Yet we are all over the internet with it.
Avoiding trigger foods (things that make me gassy, or irritate my IBS can help. Latley I've been taking
melatonin to helpe me sleep and I read on the POTS site that can make it worse. I haven't had it making me more
gassy, but it has made me have some general skipped beats when standing up too quick, AND sitting down fast.
Also when climbing stairs. I need to take less Melatonin I think.
I take Metroprolol a beta blocker twice a day (half a pill =25 mg 2 x daily). It helps keep that skipped beat
from becoming a racing heart incident that can last for minutes or hours.
I've had every test you can have, xrays, holter monitor, ekg, heart echocardiogram, stress test. All normal
thankfully. I hope doctors listen to patients and not just read medical journals only to hear there is an
epidemic sized problem that no one has an explanation for. I would think simple studies would probably show a
lot, but it seems to me that doctors do not listen to patients in this day and age.
As scary as this problem has been, I'm still alive and I thank the Lord for that. Most times the fast beetin
stops on it's own. I've found stretching out my gassy stomach sometimes helps. I have been in the emergency room
2 times for this, and both times they injected me with basically liquid metroprolol. If you are in doubt, call
911.
I also have sleep apnea, and after a period of bad sleep I am more at risk for racing heart. Get good rest, try
not to worry, and see your doctor to make sure there isn't something wrong with your heart. If there is not,
take a beta blocker that your doc gives you, and manage your symptoms. Don't give up, and try not to be afraid.
God bless you.

Sometimes when I stand up after bending over my heart suddenly beats very fast (racing) even when I am totally not doing any form of prior exercise. Usually I would feel dizzy at the same time with shortness of breath.
I went for an ECG but it never showed any symptoms... I am worried as I am now in the army.
Is it any form of heart problems or what?

i m 21 years old female my problem is that my heart beat suddenly become so faster or slower and i feel my chest will blast and heart came outside of my chest and i feel dizzy and i even cant stand in that condition i feel oxygen level is very low in me and some times i faint in that condition and i cant be bale to control my body parts 1st time this was happens to me when i was 7 or 8 years old child and after that one or twice in a year . but fron last 2 years whenever i woke up from bed or going upstairs or run or playing car race games i feel heart beat faster and dizzyness and now a days my condition become worst 2 to 3 times in a day what is the reason behind my illness and wht should i do
This happened about 5 years ago, when I was about 10 years old, but it has happened a few times back then. I would feel a little dizzy and I would get goosebumps. My heart would be pounding but I hadn't done any exercise. My fingers and arms felt heavy, like, I dunno, sausages. Here's the strangest thing. Time moved faster. I could swear it was. I could swear on my life that time moved faster, because I looked at a clock and it was really moving faster. To explain it, it's like on a metronome, say you're going 110 bpm as normal time. All of a sudden time moves at 190bpm on a metronome. i was panicking, but I didn't know what to do. It eventually passed, but to this day I don't know what happened. My first encounter was when I was on the bus and we had just stopped in front of my school and I noticed outside that people were walking at a really fast pace, like speedwalking pace. This freaked me out a little and then all the symptoms aforementioned above happened.
i would like to know what happened, could someone help me out?

Iam having a similar probelm over the past few years, i get panic very fast, and my BP shoots up along with heart rate.
I have a lot of gas which develops along, iam rushed to the hospital to find out that everything is just normal.
I have consulted around 15 doctors from various fields like cardio, internal medicine, ENT, gastro, and opthomologist.
God knows where the probelm comes from
Iam overweight with a 117 kg , and a regular smoker & occasional drinker.
i had a angio done around 5 years vback but everything was normal.
Can anyone advice me ?

Hi, Smitt my boyfriend has also had all the symptoms you have and they started when he was 13yrs old. He is now 30 and still isn't completely normal yet. He has had extensive testing and doctor visits, but still has no diagnosis. POTS is the semi diagnosis he received but this is usually in women not men. He takes a beta blocker and most of the symptoms go away especially the heart rate and dizzyness issue. I would ask your doctor if you can try this at the hospital being monitored overnight and see if it helps. My boyfriend was very sick before he started taking this and he was at the end of his rope and had gone to 20 different doctors and they all said he had anxiety and just needed to be on anxiety medication, but the anxiety medication made him 1000 times worse. If you feel bad don't let anyone tell you your crazy just keep at it until you feel better and find a medication or the problem and get it fixed. POTS is not life threatening it just means your heart rate increases when you stand up and sit down and your blood doesn't circulate fast enough, so when you are sitting down for a long period of time your blood stays in your legs and when you stand up it takes a minute to move through your body, which causes dizziness. I hope this helps you seriously ask your doctor about taking a beta blocker my boyfriend says it saved his life and swears by it even though he is not 100% he is still 1000 times better than he was.
i get this, its rather concerning because i nearly amputated a finger while doin the washing up , i just slumped for a second and was about t pass out
Someone earlier mentioned the Tilt Table Test...this may be right on. You may want to research something called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome(POTS)...It's a form of dysautonomia(any disease or malfunction of the autonomic nervous system)also known as orthostatic intolerance. It's a condition where a person's heart rate speeds up when they go from a seated to a standing position. Some people have problems changing postions...for example, reaching above their heads, or bending over. You can develop this condition at anytime in your life..but it is common in the teens and young adult years. People who have this get lightheaded or dizzy when they stand and may even momentarily black out or even pass out entirely. Other symptoms are chronic, debilitating fatigue, shortness of breath, chest pain, cold extremities, memory problems, concentration difficulty, digestive issues...the list goes on and symptoms vary. It's important to know that the ONLY test effective in diagnosing Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, as well as other forms of orthostatic intolerance, is a Tilt Table Test performed by an electrocardiologist. Hope this helps :-)
