I have had anemia since I was 15. I take b-12 and iron supements every morning. Anemia can make you feel bad but with the supplements it is totally manageable. I even went on to have 5 children.

I'm anemic and I've gotten a table tilt test. It sucked so bad. I had to be wheels out in a wheelchair, and I was crying of how uncomfortable I was.

Hello,
I am 16yr male, none smoker
Anyways to the point, for about a year now my heart has occassionally started beating very fast for about a minute, sometimes even less. This usually happens when I am about to sit down or bend over, but sometimes even happens on its own or when I am nervous. I have since then learnt how to stop it, I stop it by taking a deep breath and holding it in, this usually gets rid of the fast beating.

My second problem, which I think may be connected with the first one, is that whenever I lay down, or sit down, for at least 10mins, (This happens in the morning when I wake up everyday) and then get up I feel extremely dizzy, and I see a lot of white dots everywhere, I cant walk straight. This goes away after about 20secs and I have become used to it happening.

Of Course being a male teen Im not too excited about going to the doctor, that is why I havent went to a doctor about this yet, but I have an appointment for next friday. Anyways, back onto topic, my questions are,

1)Are these symptoms related to anything harmful?
2)is there a specific name for this?
3)is there anywhere I could get more info on this?
4)is there medication, or other method to fix this?

Id just like to get some info before I see the doctor, just to get a rough idea where this is gonna go.

Thanks

History: I have been on a beta blocker for rapid heart rate since 2004: 2.5 mg Bystolic once a day.
Current: for the past Week and a half this is what I am experiencing -
Anytime I get up to go/do anything, my heart rate escalates to between 97-130 quickly and as soon as I stop/sit down, it decreases rapidly to my notmal resting rate of between 53-60. This causes dizziness and extreme fatigue. What could be the problem? Please advise what to do and potential causes.

Hello, I am 15 and experience the same problems except with palpitations in the mix. I do have a history of heart problems(being born with an anomaly) however, lucky me, I got it in a minor case. Just recently i've been having these episodes if rapid heart rate standing up or palpitations when my heart is at a consistent fast rate. I took this problem to both my family doctor and my cardiological pediatrician(who is extremely renowned in her field) both say that my ekg/ecg in which I wore only read a sinus(natural) heart rate. With the heavy heart rate at times, they diagnosed me with anxiety and hypersensitivity. But, all these similar symptoms with different diagnosis makes me wonder if this is a genre of health that should be considered it's own disease or syndrome.
