Herpes on your leg... Is it possible?

I’ve had this weird blister rash for about 2 years i wasn’t sexually active when i caught the rash i was on vacation within 24 hrs i caught it from a hotel i was in and out the pool and hot tub i sat on the ledge of the hot tub I’ve been told it was many things had many test done now i am sexually active and had a outbreak of it again it comes and goes it does burn when they come it does tingle some go away quicker than others but this time i got it up on my butt cheek usually i have it on my legs or back or even stomach never had any sores down there or on my mouth or even in my mouth and me and my sex partner do oral sex as well she was trying to tell me i had hsv2 but me and my partner never had anal lol she kept bringing that up ... she called me with results and said my test was kind of postive i was confused how kinda ? Then she kept referring to cold sores so i think it’s hsv1 cause she proscribed me with hsv2 medication and said it will help clear up hsv1.... she scraped the sore but it felt so much better when she did so i went home and popped them (I know stupid) it didn’t spread and she was confused as well to why it didn’t spread but it did go away only thing is this time i got very very sick could this be shingles ? Idk im very confused planning on seeing a different dermatologist - Has anybody else experienced this
