I understand 100% I am 12 and weigh 150 pounds, I am 5ft and 1in tall. I am so afraid of what people would think if I told them how much I weigh. I wear my baggy sweatshirt every day at school because I am ashamed, I also suck my stomach in. I hate how adults say your way to young to be worrying about this, but I wanna be confident in my body. I see all those skinny girls and I feel like c**p, I have thought about suicide in the past because I think I am not good enough. My mom is the only one who knows about it and she suggested I get help but I dont wanna tell a stranger all my secrets. The thought scares me, but I know I need it. I was in gymnastics for 7 years but I had to give it up because of an injury. So what I am saying is that I NEED to worry about my weight because it affects so much other things in my life. I NEED help.

its okay i was in the same situation and i still am but i learning to appreciate myself and still live a healthier life style i know you want to lose weight i do to you just have to just stay motivated and exercise eat right and you will lose weight

I am about 100lbs. and really short and trying to lose weight. And have the same problem. Same age to people call me fat , but im not ! I'm just really crunched up so it makes me look fat.

Honestly hun, Im 12 too, and i dont know what i weigh, i just know i weigh 9 and a half stone, but is your fat on your stomach hard?, because if it is, it isnt real fat, when you turn into a teen it all drops off, my mam told me that and i trust my mam, Also proof of it, my grandads, sisters, son was chubby when he was just lil, and know it is like a spelk ( not anarexic, just skinny ) and he barely eats, so that is proof, i am quite fat and i cant wait for it ALL to drop off, it takes a while remember hunni, so dont get your hopes up on losing it soon, just be patient and it will drop off gradually  :-):-)

Exercising and a well-balanced  diet are among the best ways to lose weight. Thus, neglecting your  work out  will  greatly affect your progress. Commit yourself into a lifestyle change.  You just have to be more determined in doing them, then you will achieve the desired results.

Well ... it is true that u are still young, but if it really matters to you this is what i do:
- have a light breakfast, and have lunch only, and do not eat until ur about to throw up, no , leave some space for food in your tummy
- when the weather is not cold, like in spring and summer, you could wake up in the morning, jog , walk, run and exercise a little, you could do that before you could even go to school
- you have to back off from chocolate, push yourself to healthy food, like vegetables and fruits
  THAT'S ALL U GOTTA DO ! AND TRUST ME IT'LL WORK OUT ;-)

Ok im 12 and Im overweight too and dont listeon to the other posts!! They dont know what it feels like to be bullied every day and see a bunch of other girls that have great bodies with boyfriends!!! And 12 is not too young to be worrying about weight because if you dont worry than you could get too big or too small!!! So im on a diet!! And trust me it works!!! Eat a light breakfast like whole wheat cereal........then bring a lunch too school!! Make a healthy sandwich with whole wheat bread, lettuce, cheese, and if u like it, have a little bit of mayo.........then for dinner have a salad with vegtables and for a drink have a glass of milk or water. And if you exercise ...the weight should come off really easy!!! Good Luck!!

I am shorter and weigh more than all of my friends!! I am also 12 weighing 100 pounds!! My best friend is 5'2 and weighs 80lbs!! It's not fair I eat less and exercise more than all of them but I still am super fat!!!!!

OMG! im 11 i weigh 138 i didnt get my period yet im loosing weight by using my wii just dance and not eating at night. its really hard im not being races but my class is filled of perfect spanish girls with no pimples or fat. im the only white girl in my class and i have pimples and fat.oh and if you have pimples proactive works great accept when you stop using it. you get another break out.

grls stop worrying about weight if sum1 really likes u then they wont care if ur fat im 12 and 135lbs and im OBESE i hate it to well u know wat whocares dont let ppl bring u down amd forget anout exercising daily all u hav to do is help ur parents clean and help out around ur house and drink lots of water yea lil bit of juice and soda but u know what after doin wat u do like helping u deserve a treat here and there. PEACE :P

i don't know when you wrote this but i'm turning this summer and i weigh 176 pounds and i dont have a boyfriends and all the other girls do and i want to have nice dresses and bikinis but none of them will fit me so one thing that i think all the overweight kids can do is the zumba classes

you should eat regular but just eat healthier.you dont have to join a sport right now,you can exercise at home like:sit ups,jumping jacks,ride bike, and rollerskate.tell me what you eat for morning,noon,and night.i can help you cut down on some things.GOOD LUCK

OMG i have the same prod i weigh 152 . people say i dont look that weight and im not a fat cow but I AM!!!!!!! i try to excersize but it doesnt help . one of my prods is i eat when im board ! im gonna try to watch wht i eat but also excersize!!!!!!!$$$$$$@@@@@@:):0;);)p;)P)**
