I am in the exact same position as you all though I participate in a sport and since its summer I have all day and a house to myself to excersise so just try and only eat 70 carbs a day going by carbs is way better than calories my mom has done it for 2 months and lost about 80 lbs. so far and be sure to exercise for 30 mins to an hour every day and it will work and you want to go into a new school year looking fit and fierce! (;

Hi, I was in the same situation as you! I was 12 when I realized I wanted to start loosing more weight, i was very tall and everyone thought I was 16! The weight didn't show on me as much because of my height and my average weight was supposed to be 150 because I was 5'6 when I was 12. I was big though and wanted to do something about it cause I was almost 13 going into the 7th grade and wanted to start the new school year with a better look. Over the summer is where I really lost weight here's how. The first thing I did was set my mind to it and make it my goal to reach. I started going to the gym with my dad and going on olyptical machine and the treadmill. It didn't work fast so I substituted between excersises. What you have to do is build up your cardio sets so you can run, walk or jog. You also need to cut down on carbs a lot! Drink plenty of water and drink 2 cups before every meal. This may sound a bit hard but if you stay within 800 calories a day your bound to loose weight along with the other steps. Never skip meals that'll only make things worst, I use to not eat at all and it made me gain weight. Another good thing to do is drink green tea this will help retain water weight and loose more weight! I was 176 pounds and I'm now 130 pounds and I'm 15 years old at 5'7. when I was 12 I was 176 pounds and by the age of 13 I was 145! I did a routine everyday and sticked with it. All you have to do is never give up and make yourself determined. I hope this helps and I hope you can reach your goal if not done already good luck! And don't give up I didn't and it paid off!

Hi. I understand what your going through I went through the same thing. So I have a few tips. BTW I'm almost 13 bit when I was 10 I weighed 114 pounds andyways the tips are don't eat as much go on a 15-20 min walk everyday or jog in place in your room and if u gp out to eat get a salad. I know I'm young and so r u but I know what it's like and I know how to help. Also drink a lot of water. Ok hope I helped.

Do cardio workouts like running, skipping rope, jumping jacks. Fitnessblender on utube has a lot of great workouts that burns many calories. Im almost 13 btw and weight 77 pounds

If you really need to lose wieght fast then maybe you should go on a military diet where you will lose 10 pounds in 3 days you should look up the 3 day military diet on YouTube wear you will get a lot information. Good luck!!!

Ok ya'll dont understand what she's going through. Im also 12 and weigh 154 pounds and im 5'3 and every time i look up these damn websites they send me to reviews only telling me the basics that never work so i dont know what to do besides work out and kill my healthy bones..... just saying.

Well I'm almost 13 and I KNOW it's not healthy at all to lose that much weight in a month especially at 12 years old. Just change your diet, drink lots of water and milk, and exersize for 1 1/2 hours daily. You will definitely see results if you do those things.

To lose 30 pounds in a month is big challange to everyone not only for 12 year old. There are many supplements and medicines are available in the market or online drug store. Daily exercise are also matter.

Never starve yourself bc then ur body holds the fat. I no how u feel i am 130 lbs and the worst part is i am BIG boned like my dad and all my friends workout but it just doesnt work for me!!!
