Well I'm 12 yrs old and weigh 122 pounds. I've watched some videos on how to loose weight and always been drinking water since I was seeing my weight. I started doing exercises everyday and feel like I lossed some pounds but I didn't. I've been doing this since last Monday and not seeing any results. PLS HELP ME!!!!!!

I'm 14 and when I was 12 I had the same problem I was 140ish pounds. I lost 30 pounds in 2 months though. It was hard, every monday,tuesday, thursday,friday,amd sunday I would run all the way to the end of my street and back(it was about 2 kilometers long one way) I would be so tired at the end I felt like I was going to puke. on Wednesday and Saturday I did a ski practice because I am a ski racer.
I would eat less of my food by eating a healthier and smaller breakfast, for lunch I would pack less food so I had no food left I'm my lunch after making me eat less and not starving myself. For dinner I would eat half my dinner at a usual time and eat the rest later on that day when I was Hungry, a lot of the time I forgot about my second half of dinner and didn't eat it (voila,less calories eaten)
It was hard at first but after a while it got so much easier. After I lost the waight I was so proud of my self and ended up being less stressed, grumpy, way more friendly and deffinetly more secure about the way I looked. This caused me to get amazing friends that didn't care how I looked, I got much better grades because of less stress,all because of my new free spirit! Good luck!

Hey, Im twelve too but I started losing weight when I was eleven. I went from 120 to 104 . I think a month is too fast, because even though being 124 is not anorexic at all, it will put a lot of strain on you body to lose that much. That doesn't mean that calorie restriction doesn't work though. I had lost about 15 pounds in three months, gained five of it back (over the summer) and then lost that again. Do do so I used my fitness pal really strictly for 3 months (my fitness pal is an app) and after that I did low carb (I lost like five pounds that week) and if you do no carbs at all, then you could lose even more. I actually live a quite sedentary lifestyle,(except for Wednesdays when I run). Just do the following:
1. Consume less calories (use my fitness pal because it helps you track what you eat)
2. Participate in a sport like running, since you don't want to have to be around other people
3. Weigh yourself at least once a week
4. Drink a lot of water, because your body may be holding on to water weight
Since you weigh more you will lose weight faster so it may only take you a month to lose 15 lbs.

Im 12 and Ive always been that girl who was bigger than the others, always. I always knew that my weight was a little over. but when middle school started an pit of darkness filled my heart. girls started to called me fat, even one time when i said i was cold one of my friends said "I have an extra jacket but your ...... uh too big for it".when i looked in the mirror i see a big fat girl, I always got deppressed because of girls teasing me on my weight . so I decided I wanted to loose weight ,not just because of the teasing but, for me. I always ate chips and ice cream accesively and i didnt know how to eat healthy but Id always heard about dieting, so immediately I started looking up ways to loose weight. Over the course of 3 years I tried EVERYTHING, Running, juicing,only eating fruit, stoping eating bread, fasting, and I even tried starving myself. But one day I was searching online for another diet to try, and then I found something that changed my life. It was called a not-a-diet. it was a diet that lets you eat pretty much everything you want. Fried chicken, ice cream, chips, you name it you could eat it. the key to this diet was balancing, so if your gonna have some chips eat a smaller portion of it and try eating a bowl of fruit on the side. it taught me about eating the right amount of foods and the right combination of them. It also told me 5 foods to look out for those were soy products, orange juice, whole wheat bread, and geneticly modified corn. these foods produce a chemical in your body that makes you hungrier.The next day I ate for breakfeast I ate some milk and cheerios and an apple. for lunch I had 2 slices of pepperoni pizza, a glass of water, and a big bowl of strawberries and grapes. then for a snack I had a not too big bowl of nuts. for dinner I ate 2 big pieces of fried chicken, a biscut, a glass of water, and a big ol bowl of blueberries. then for dinner I ate a medieum bowl of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. From then on I started eating balanced meals and I went from 150 to 100. see it really works just follow these 3 simple steps balancing meals,eating the right portion, and eating the right combination of foods.

I'm 13 and i need to lose at least 20 pounds to be on the same weight level of my friends. And yes i do realize that you don't always need to be on the same radar as everyone else. But personally i don't want to be the only "bigger" person in eighth grade. But i'm also a bigger individual meaning i have wider hips, bigger butt, boobs, thighs. Than my friends. I believe that if you want to lose a lot of weight you need to do it the healthy way. You need to do exercises for at least an hour 4 to 5 days out of the week, learn this thing called portion control, eat healthier, don't snack as much as 6 times a day (like i did) snack at least twice a day, tone your body (by trying out a weight trainer and also building up your mussels), don't forget to drink 6 8 oz. glasses of water per day. I recently bought a waist trainer and I LOVE IT its the best thing i think you should try to tone up your belly and get abs. also, if you wear your weight trainer while working out 9 ( it pulls your belly so when you sweat it makes you sweat more to lose excess water wright. Smart right? The only exercises i do is run in place with high knees, do 20 push ups, do a 1 minute plank, 20 squats, lift a 5 pound weight 20 times on each arm, and do 20 jump n jacks. These exercises are the easiest for a person like me ( im a lazier person and im tired all the time) so these work for me. Let me know if those exercises work for you.

I am 12 and I weigh 152.4 and I want to lose 40 or 50 pounds in 1 year, is there any tips is it a safe number to lose in that amount of time I am 5'4 thanks

Hi! I'm 12 years old and I was 178 lbs but after 3 months I am now 114 lbs. i am vegetarian and eat beans and tofu for protein. So I put myself on a 1200 calorie diet. 300 for breakfast 300 for lunch 200 for snacks and 300 for dinner sometimes I eat a little bit more so it's good to have 100 for extra. I exercise 1 hour a day. For 4 days I do HIIT (high intensity interval training) what it does is starts your motabalizm. What you do is sprint for 2 minutes and jog/run for 13 minutes and repeat 4x. On the other 3 days (Monday Wednesday Friday) I do weight training. for extra motivation have a buddy to compare with and make it a competition or contest. Also you could take a bin and put healthy snacks that are 50 calories each so when you are hungry you can take a snack without the guilt. I hope I helped.

Eat nothing after 8?! That's not going to help! gaining weight and losing weight has nothing to do with what time you eat food! You can eat right before you go to bed but, its not good. Otherwise you can eat whenever!

Lucky, im 12 my birthday is in about 2 months and i weigh 150 lbs. Im only 5 foot too. I have a big butt but i wanna lose like 30 or 40 lbs really really bad

I know what you mean, I'm 12 now, and I went from 115 to 106, by creating a workout routine that I do everyday and also walking a lot, if you try to do or get into a lot of sports I guarantee you'll feel better, or if you are very sporty, it could probably just be muscle and that could be a good thing.

Hi! It is ok I went through something similar. There will always be a way you can do it . I am just starting . I used to weigh 135 and I am 12 . Right now I weight 126 . Everyday I have been eating a yogurt like active for breakfast and a salad for lunch and a lot of fruit and more yogurt every single day . I do an exercise routine made for especially girls and it take s40 min
You must also drink water all the time . No juice and no soda and no junk food . You have to control all that attraction this food . Yeah once a month you can eat it but you gotta motivate yourself. I motivate myself to lose weight and I am still continuing to do that. My goal is 100 -105 pounds. I am ready to achieve that goal .
