hi , don't worry i got da same prob!! i weight about 84lb and that's really fat (too me) i'm also 12 turning 13 and to tell u the truth i gained more weight cuz i stopped eating and by that i mean i didn't have breakfast and lunch , maybe supper?!? so basically what i'm trying to say is that if you want to loss weight starving yourself will NOT help at all ok? plus just workout thats all! jump rope for 10 minutes a day every day don't skip and there you will start to lose weight slowly cuz if you lose weight to fast then it can also be unhealthy

Hi i am 12years old and trust me i have the same problem i weigh like arouns 180 sumthin and its horible i look at my self in the mirror evryday and say im gun aloose weight but i never do it i even plan to starve my self but i never do it and once mro eim going to try agiaun cuz thr is this realy cute guy in a grade ahead of me and hes realy nice and tlks to me but i know i wil never have a chance with being fat so i know how u feal and i realy wanna play softbal but im scared pple wil tlk about me i really want to loose weight really bad. :'(

I have the problem too. I am 132 lbs and im about 5"5, I'm a 12 year old boy. I have alot of muscle but some fat too and lucky for me it doesn't show ( i look skinny) but when i take my shirt off you can defidently see.I do exercise and play sports alot but it never goes down :-(

Counting calories is the worst thing to do. It brings stress, ecspecialy in young people. So, eat regular veggies and fruit instead of pizza, cake etc. And drink LOTS of water while excercising at least 1 hour everyday. To motivate yourself ask a friend that says your not fat to dare you to get your goal wieght just to show them you can do it. I'm struggling too. I'm 12 and I wiegh 130 pounds. My BFF's say im prettty and not fat. But if I feel fat and depresssed, I should change it for MY happiness. Good luck. :-)

well i really have the same problem and im 12 years old... but... im not 0ver 100....im only 85 kilos and i really wanna lose that fast but i know its really unhealthy to lose weight fast so if i was you i will cut down on ma foot do exercise well dont eat any junk food, dont drink fizzy drinks, eat a lot of fruit and veg if you want to eat something like chocolate or chrisp ok , oh also make your self feel like your like a really thin girl and you eat less you dont eat like fat people do ok. oh and remember this does really work coz i did it i was 147 lbs nd know im down to 85 lbs, wish you luck with this !!

thing is in losing weight you need to, one change your lifestyle, at lunch for a week or 2 get 2 fruits and if you can buy a minute maid drink, i did this and i lost 6 pounds SUPER fast and that made me happy, i also added this to my agenda on losing weight, 100 situps a day, this may sound like alot to do at once so what i did was do 25 situps wait 5 minutes and repeat, and i also did push ups 100 divide it by 10 and do 10 at a time. i did this but i screwed up, i went on vacation and i ate A TON and i gained it all back but ive lost 3 pounds after 1 week of getting back on course but ive probably lost more because my colon is like clooged. trust me im 12 and 136 (should be 130) and it works

I am 12 years and weigh about 87 lbs, but i am only 4" 7'. i feel soo fat and my stomach is huge!! i read on a website to go to ***edited by moderator*** web addresses not allowed and it gave me alot of information and it really helps :D . i am going to try to lose weight by sticking to a plan and drinking water. :) my BMI is 20.2 and the average BMI for somone my age is 18.5-24.9 so i am kinda high up the on the scale. people are very judjemental in 7th grade and that is 1 reason y i want to lose weight. another reason y i want to lose weight is beacuse my shirts are starting to get tighter and i DO NOT lik tht feeling. and the last reason y i want to lose weight is because i want to have a lil mo self confidence and esteem. i also feel conscious around skinny people lik my best friend which really sucks so tht is again another reason tht i want to lose weight :!:

I agree,but I am 12 and 195 I know how you feel it sucks I get made fun of a lot and 85 pounds is not when u need to go on a diet you are perfectly healthy maybe you just need to I hate to say it excercise more I do understand COMPLETELY believe me I know >;)

yeah, im 12, i weigh 125 lbs but im 5 ft tall. i go to the gym 2-3 times a week, eat really healthy (my mom wont let me drink soda or junk ever) i have yoga teachers in my family, and i run occasionally, and play tennis. when is started my diet, i lost 3 lbs, but i gained 2 lbs when my friends came over and we had chinese food. im really unhappy with myself. i tried to throw up because i ate too much but i couldn't do it.
