um... okay, well i'm 12 and i'm 95 pounds, but I have lots of extra fat and big love handles. My mom says to exercise on this new machine we got, it's like a running machine where you push your legs down. I'm gonna do that for 1 month and see my results. But i'm pretty sure it's what i'm eating. Since i'm an indian, we eat lots of vegetables, but not me. So i'm gonna start eating more indian food. And i read on a website that good cleansiness is another thing that helps lose weight. Because you have some stuff in your body that can be released with good hygene. So after a shower, try putting lotion all over your body. ^.^

man i weigh 292 pounds and i am also 5'10 tall i am fat and i wanna lose it but idk how it makes me frustrated because i tryed exercising and cut down a lot on pop and tried drinking crystal light, nuthing works! i wanna boyfriend but cant, and also im like big boned so idk how much of my body is muscle or fat or bone by the way how much more does muscle way then fat, anyways im getting tired of it my dad even makes fun of me for being fat i evened joined basketball and i only lost two pounds throughout the 1 year i played and i used to way about 250 and then i broke my ankle and had to stay home and lay around in bed and miss school and thats when i gained a lot of pounds and just doesnt want to come off at all!!!!, what else can i do to make it come off should i use diet pills, or what????????? i want that hour glass figure i mean i dont care if im chubby i just dnt wanna be fat anymore like kids at school would call me timber because thats what people yell when a big tree falls down, but they would always get scared of me because they know i can hurt them, i can lift more than a 12 year could irigenally can lift,lol idk how to spell that, but yea please help me like asap i wanna be able to look good in a dress before prom and maybe even get that guy i been having a crush on lol . :-(

It's tough being heavy at this age. You have so much going on within you and with the people around you. Peer pressure is super tough.
You need to get into the habit of eating healthy and being active. It will carry you through the years as you get older.
Avoid sodas, junk and processed foods. They're your biggest enemy.
Add more vegetables and fruit to your diet everyday. Much better than candy.
Cook for yourself if your family has a lot of fried foods. See if they will let you cook for them once or twice a week. That way you can control how much fat you eat. Enjoy a treat that you shouldn't eat once a week. It's OK, if you've been working hard all week.
Start exercising. Walk, run, race. Try to get your friends to help you have fun when exercising. It'll help them too.
Can you go to a gym. Seeing others workout helps motivate you. Take a class or two or three.
Whatever you do, do not skip your meals! Your body needs them.

im 144 pounds. I am very athletic so i try to stay on my feet. I play on 3 softball teams and i have accutally lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks. Excersizing does work...you just have to find good ways to do it. trust me. Try all sports!! Softball, Baseball, LaCrosse, Football, soccer, Golf even!! If you play golf just dont use a golf cart! Basketball, Hockey, Tennis, Cycling, Gymnastics Feild Hockey,swimming, Karate/martial arts, .....but my friends are all skinny to the bone and its ALL BECAUSE OF DANCING. My other friend looses weight by playing football. Its prtty much all running.

i kind of have the same problem too. i currently weigh 133 pounds. I wear size 7 and my friend says i look like a 4. i have a bat mitzvah coming up this week and i am going to wear a tight dress. when i put the dress on my hips looked very wide, wider than usual. I look an ice bandage and put it around my hips to make my hips look flat. I hate my body and i hate the image of it. People dont really call me fat but all my friends weigh atleast 105-110. Most of them wear a size 0-3. I really want to loose wight because they always share pants with eachother and i cant share with them because i dont fit into there jeans. I hope someone has a really good soloution to my problem because my goal is to be 107 llb before the next school year starts which is in september. Do you thinki will be able to do it?

I'm also 12 years old, I used to be over weight... I lost it easily. I found I safe place where I could run everyday. Replaced thinks like coke and pepsi for water and milk. Had a healthy breakfast every day, a light lunch, and a nice meal for dinner including, meat, veggies, and rice/potatoes. The most important thing about loosing weight is having someone who can be there for you, maybe a friend that could run with you giving you a push when you need it. You should run about 10-20 minutes a day taking breaks in between and drinking tons of water. Hope it helps, remember if I could do it, you can. ;D

i have the same problem..only i weigh 120lbs...2 boys asked me out but the dont know wat my weist looks like...so i exerseised 3 hrs a day...in 3 days i lost 10lbs and some of my gutt... :D ....next i streched on my floor and did sit ups with my stomach up hanging off my bed...make sure some 1 holds ure feet...7 days later i lost 40lbs...but i still had a bit of a gutt...at the stage all u need to do is strech it out...HALILUYA

Anyway, ive got my aunties wedding coming up to and i want to make myself look slimmer in the bridesmaid dress but im finding it difficult to lose weight :-( My whole family has given me advice and i have tried to follow it but i have got alot on my mind at the moment. I have an end of year exam coming up and my uncle isnt very well and ive been worrying alot. My friends have been teasing me about my weight and a couple have made me cry :'( All i want is to lose weight fast without tablets. I also have epilepsy and my tablets that im taking are making me put on weight. Any advice?? ?

Hey everyone I know what it feels like to think ur fat cuz I know how it is. All my friends say I'm not fat but I can tell they r lying cuz they can make fat jokes w/ all my other friends.... cept me. I'm 12 goin on 13 in like 1 month and I weigh like 145. I honestly don't try to squeaze into tight pants so I'm like a size 9. my calves are good but..... hello THUNDER THIGHS. 4 those of u w/ the same problem just do crunches I guess and try DDR (Dance dance revolution) DDR is really fun and u burn like 15 calories per song, a lot more than running and doesnt feel as severe. Also, try sticking to 3 meals a day, and if u can do that..... well :-) because then u can pig out on those... well not literally but u get the point. If anyone has any tips 4 me cuz I honestly hate soda (shocking I know) but i'm not skinny at all so cutting back on sugar drinks doesn't seem to help me. CONGRATS 2 U PEOPLE WHO LOST WEIGHT AND COME ON EVERYONE WHOSE STILL TRYING!!!!! >:( XD !
