It sounds like you're just not ready yet.
It takes time and not everyone matures at the same rate. It sounds like you're getting close though if you get the feeling.
Not all your friends are probably doing it but they don't want someone to know they can't. So, I wouldn't worry what the other kids say.

One cannot ejaculate until one's body is mature enough to produce semen. It sounds like you had a dry orgasm, which is when the body tries to ejaculate but nothing comes out because there is no semen available.
You should have a wet orgasm soon.
