Mr. Go and I had heard that you could cook food in a dishwasher so we found a recipe and did it. We wrapped up some salmon with whatever herbs we wanted in some foil, put it in the top rack, and let the machine do its thing. Turned out just fine. Probably not something I'd do every time, but it's good to know there's an option when your stove or oven breaks down and you're having company.
Now who wants to hug my Heloise-@ss?

I guess the real question here is what brand of diswashing soap you used to flavor the salmon.
You're just trying to get invited over, I can tell.
I'd choose lemon cascade.
Well I am supossed to be resting this week.
:1: You took the words right out of my mouth .
No No No, that's for chicken. Whoever heard of lemon salmon?
Everything and I do mean everything goes in the dishwasher. If it doesn't get clean on the first go 'round, it goes through again. Hand washing dishes is the bane of my existence.
That's why we had children. ;)

I'm a 20th century girl I guess... don't have a dishwasher. :( Our kitchen is kinda small, don't want to lose cabinet space to put one in.
I mentioned that to my wife the other day. She was NOT impressed. Now she's afraid I might try it.
I am a little anal, I wash things by hand, then stick them in the dishwasher to get washed again. I don't know why.
both! I wash in hot soapy water then put them in the machine for rinse and dry! This also stores them until i am ready to put them away!
Well, when I was single it was paper and plastic...and I am not kidding. Kudos to you for even owning things that need to be washed.
Maybe it was just a guy thing
