I want to start running. I don’t know the first thing about running. I mean, I know how to run. I learned that soon after I learned how to walk. But running as an athlete…that is something different. I don’t know how to train. How long and how fast should I run?

It is so natural to our body that you can feel the benefits soon after you start to run on a regular basis. How fast should you run? Well, it depends on your current level of fitness and your objectives. Are you in a good form? Do you plan to run long distances or sprint? Generally, you should start with half of what you think you can do and gradually increase the distance and speed.
