They are smoking Spice instead. It is synthetic cannabinoids that don't show up on drug tests. I know - I used to smoke them to fool people like you.

I stop smoking after years of smoking and i didn't feel a single withdraw and i smoked about a g or more a day. So all of you saying that you can't eat and having terrible headaches you mite be going through some other drug withdraw, probably caffeine.

I am 27 and have been smoking since 17 heavily. I have always argued that weed is just mentally addictive and have carried on smoking. I finally decided to stop as it was affecting my life negatively It was affecting my work and also my social life. Always much easier to just chill and smash a binger at home than go out or see people. I am highly active and go to gym everyday as well as run and cycle I dont do any other drugs and don't even drink coffee. I have been off marijuana for 2 weeks now and I have been having bad withdrawals, sweating like I have never sweated in my life before waking up drenched every morning. I have also had trouble sleeping which is a problem when I have to wake up early for work and my stomach has been upset since about day 3. I can't actually believe it since I used to be so pro weed and used to go around telling people it wasn't addictive for years. What has crossed my mind though is that our chronic these days is a lot more potent than what it used to be and maybe because of the higher levels of THC in indo's it might actually be causing these physical symptoms.

I use this analogy... Some people can die from being stung by a bee, while others have no problem. Every body responds differently.. I've been smoking every day for 9 years, I've never done any other drug, I don't drink coffee or soda, I play hockey 3x a week. I have quit for 10 days and I have all the symptoms listed. Just consider yourself lucky, Dr.

Some of you are acting like attention seeking drama queens seriously.. HTFU. Quitting cigarettes was worse than this for me, I started smoking pot and tobacco at 16 an I quit pot for 148 days but hey who was counting :/ i quit it for a girl but we did not work out an then i was back on it, I decided this year im dobe with it its only getting in my way financially an mentality wise so I told myseld "time to grow up and learn to handle my business without relying on it ot booze" the withdrawls symptons have been nightmares, vivid dreams, waking up all sweaty, headaches and I get a bit irritable sometimes an diwn others but it is all about being aware of your thoughts and emotions, take up a new hobby like exercising, reading about emotional intelligence an maybe try learning a bit of a new language, go outdoors kick the footy vidit non smoker mates, watch movies, learn new recipes, learn to play an instrument, learn about nutrition ... the list goes on, I have managed very well and I was a eceryday every hour ir two a few bongs smoker, it is all about having a strong will and mentality, sure some days seem rough but you must be tough, I found the real key us telling nyself the same i told myself when i quit cigarettes "you will not die without it" now go for a long walk take a shower tell all your friends and family you're quiting an want their support, you can do it if you want to, goodluck everyone, stay strong, stay mentally and emotionally awear do not be dramatic its marijuana not alcohol meth or heroin for crying out loud. All the best.

Status - DAY 21 off weed and cigs (cold turkey).Usage: 1-1,5g/day low-medium grade hash for 8 years. Started as 18 y.o.Breaks: 10+ x1-5 day breaks, 2x 1 month breaks. Now coming off a 3 months smoking session of very good hash.Symptoms im experiencing: Depression & Agression/Anger didnt appear during first 2 weeks, however 15 days in i started raging (very, very hard) and its just not getting better. I snapped yesterday and threw my breakfast over an arguement with my gf over diet (insane tbh). Sleep was f'ed up for the first 2 weeks, but im sleeping it off without problems now.

My work is very mentally exhausting and unforgiving of mistakes and i have had to take time off to deal with detox since agression and irritability symptoms appeared.

My diet is close to full bulletproof (following "The Bulletproof Diet").Exercise 4 times a week, and i think this has been very helpful in dealing with withdrawal.I recommend uphill sprints, they are very taxing for the body and are great for the brain.

I feel very lucky that i didnt have access to the high grade weed like other posters, and hope everybody achieves their goals.

To people who say withdrawal isnt real and that all study suggests that weed has no long term impact-

I suggest you look up recent research and studies done on rats. If anyone wants to talk more about this you can contact me at aciddiet at hotmail.com

I am sorry you are going through a rough time. I would recommend a little bit of Tylonal PM. Take 2 tablets about 9ish pm, and you should sleep through the night. I would say you will have a problem for about 2 weeks. I don't know about the not eating, but that should help for you not sleeping, and for anyone else. Good luck, and feel better soon!

Day 20 without weed after getting high for 20 years.

Still having the night sweats and the dreams. I'm wearing a polypropylene shirt under my pyamas to try to keep somewhat dry and warm at night. I never had problems falling asleep but i would wake up after 3-4 hours and be wide awake.

I have been smoking bongs with cannabis/tobacco and i have stopped cold turkey.

If you can't eat try bananas, yoghurt and nuts. If you have anxiety drink a couple of glassses of wine to calm down. It helped me alot. And offcourse exercise because you will be on virtual speed for weeks ..

I have stopped for a couple of years before and sleep will improve after a while but it will never get that good again as before unfortunately. But you wil get out of bed alot easier and you don't need that much hours anymore. 6-7  seems enough for me. Before  i would sleep 10 hours easily in the weekends.

All in all it's not so bad if you have a strong will and really want to quit. You just have to get through that month and you're golden.
