my doctor prescribed me 500mg azithromycin twice daily for 10 days for chlamydia. Is that too much?
I got treated for Std's and I have Chlamydia. I was prescribed 2 Azithromycin pills. I took one and immediately after I had to run to the bathroom because I was close to vomiting but didn't. So I waited and lost track of time and took the 2nd an hour later and immediately after I vomited. I did take the antibiotic with food both times. I didn't want to risk throwing up both pills but with taking one pill can it help fight this Chlamydia? Or am I screwed? Please help!
Yes it will because she's still infectious to the STD
Actually I've heard pretty much my entire life that alcohol decreases the effects of antibiotics, and I was told specifically to avoid alcohol with these. I would consider waiting a week or so and getting tested again.
