I have been on a diet for about a week now. It is great, because I am actually doing it together with a friend so it is much easier to stay motivated, but I still do get cravings for "forbidden foods" a lot of the time. I think half the appeal is that I shouldn't be eating these things, though part of it is habit too. I've even thought about taking up smoking to satisfy my oral habit but that would just be replacing one addiction with another, and a worse one at that. Please advise me!!! How can I lose the cravings?
Nooooooooooooo don't take up smoking! I recommend the R&D Diet Cookie. It will be perfect for you! The cookies are kind of a protein/fiber/whole grain bar so they are nutritious but mostly they take away hunger anc CRAVINGS! They will help you stay on your diet.
