Many, if not all, men masturbate. It's a normal activity. It can be hard to stop because you find it pleasurable. In other words, your body is conditioned to feeling pleasure from when you masturbate.
It is a form of addiction.
Find something else to do when you feel the need. Get up, move around. Go outside. Avoid situations that make you want to masturbate.

I tried replying to your message but it would not send through... Like medic said many guys masturbate and it can be very addicting,..... how old are you how long have you been masturbating for and how many times a day do you masturbate? as for your night time ejaculation that is a normal function known as a Nocturnal emission" or wet dream most guys have those too especially if you haven't ejaculated/masturbated in a while. those are impossible to overcome and is your bodys normal way to release stored up semen and sexual tension. they do tend to decrease in frequency as you get older.
i am 18 years old ....and i guess i am masturbating since 5 years .......sad thing i notice is that my weight keeps on loosing,every time after masturbating ......is this true ?.
And are there any side effects as such for this ? :/

Masturbation is normal and healthy for you. It improves the function of the prostate gland and may reduce chances of prostate cancer.
Your body will ejaculate, whether or not you masturbate, as you have experienced. It is NORMAL. If you are losing weight it is not from masturbation. See your doctor.

If you want to control your masturbation You need to think about why you masturbate, or why you masturbate more than you consider appropriate. Also think about why you want to curtail your masturbation, and focus on that.
- Do you masturbate because of a need to release pent up tension, or just aa habit? Then look at the reasons for this.
- It may be a natural build up which needs releasing occasionally. This may not need releasing as often as you currently do.
- It may be tension built up by mental imagery. Turn your attention away from those sexual images. Your biggest sex organ is your brain.
- It may be from habitual masturbation. You masturbate out of habit or boredom, which creates its own tension, which need to be released. The more you do this, the more you want to. Sexual activity is addictive. Try and break the habit. Try and limit the frequency of masturbation. So if you masturbate twice a day, start off by strictly limiting yourself to once a day. Then you can limit yourself to once every two days; then twice a week. If the gradual approach does not work, a drastic one might be needed whereby you ban masturbation for a certain length of time.
- Why do you want to curtail your masturbation?
- It is becoming a habit? Then break the habit as suggested above.
- The high frequency is likely to create problems in marriage, maybe ejaculatory control or masturbatory preference over intercourse. Focus on the need for curtailment as a spur to you masturbation adjustment.
- The activity has moral, spiritual, ideological or psychological implications that determine changes should be made. Make the determination in your mind to adhere to those principles, and use the suggestions above to achieve the desired result.
