What would it mean if you had alcohol within 2-5 days before the pain starts?
After two years of HELL I finally found something that worked -- for TWO people now!
I started feeling these same symptoms in June of 2012 -- just under a year after my diagnosis of Crohn's disease. By July, I was going insane. Being an international photographer by trade, I was no longer able to just jump on planes so I had to stop working entirely (I was also having complications with my Crohn's -- lost 40lbs in 6 weeks -- but the hunger pains were far worse than intestinal bleeding and stomach cramping from Crohn's).
My doctors always assumed it was related to my Crohn's disease. I was prescribed methotrexate (child leukemia chemo, I believe) 3 times after a bunch of easier meds didn't work -- I turned it down every time because I didn't think this was Crohn's related as my Crohn's symptoms were, at times, completely under control (no bleeding, weight loss, etc) while the hunger pains would be worse than ever.
Fast forward to about two months ago. I had heard of Rick Simpson Oil -- highly concentrated cannabis oil -- but it's expensive and hard to find unless you make it yourself. Long story short, I got my hands on two months supply. My Crohn's was in remission on day 2 and the hunger pains were gone by the end of the week. Stop the oil, the hunger pains come back.
In May, my wife started having the same symptoms. MRI, CT, both scopes, panels, urinalysis, ultrasounds... they found nothing. However, my wife had an additional symptom of back pain that stretched into her legs (like RLS mixed with back pain, she'd describe it). By September, she was under 100lbs, unable to walk, and getting shots of diladin (sp?) from her GP (thankfully she saw her when her hunger pains were incredible active/loud w tons of movement -- all while she was unable to really speak through any of it -- so she didn't deal with the "It's probably in your head" stuff that I had to deal with from my doctors). She was bedridden and unable to do much of anything. It was incredibly difficult to watch our 3 year old son deal with this...
After having such success with rick simpson oil, the person who provided it to me offered to give me raw, fresh cannabis -- which, apparently, is like unfermented grapes (no high). To our surprise, no high -- just like juicing spinach (we juiced it). The following day, she had a 50% reduction of symptoms. Within a week, 100% remission.
Two months later and it's always the same. When she runs out of fresh cannabis to juice/consume, the symptoms return in a few days (or faster). If we have enough plant material, she's 100%.
For what it's worth, I'm a life long conservative, happily married for 11 years, father, business owner, and missionary of 4 years (with YWAM Tyler). And Rick Simpson Oil isn't a product you buy -- it's just the name of the guy who shared the process after he attained remission with his skin cancer. He shares all this info freely and fortunately it eventually made its way to my family :D
I was suicidal last year -- never struggled with anything like that before -- all because of these hunger pains. My crohn's has been pretty awful at times but the hunger pains were ALWAYS worse. If you've been told it's in your head or they can't find the problem, and no other solutions have worked, please consider this :)

It really does stop you from enjoying life and I think more research needs to be done as it seems a lot of people seem to suffer with these type of symptoms and tablets don't help and the doctors cant find anything wrong. Its really frustrating! Doctors just pass it off as anxiety
Ok here's a possible answer for you all it's called GERD/ Acid Reflux. I've been going though this for sometime now I take Nexium 40mg every day and it only works for a little while and when my stomack thinks it's hungry it starts all over again. All my test have come back normal except for the GERD part. I eat small meals though the day and it does help some but there are times when I have to use something for gas which will cause the pains in my chest/ stomack. Hope this helps you all. Get you some OTC anacids and gas-x and stay away from fried food and foods with alot of spices. Good luck and God bless !! PS: Just remember if you start a medication like Nexium for this you'll be on it more than likely for life. So please try the OTC ones first OK.
It can be that you eat too much carbs
I used to experience similar symptoms of pain in my stomach, back and chest, turned out that I'm SOY intolerant so maybe you are allergic to something.
i would get your liver checked again if you are getting bigger you liver might be swelling or enlarged they have a med name for this i would also check and keep check of the white of my eyes and my gums if they start looking yellow there is a problem also real itchy feet is also a rare sign of liver probs the reason i tell you this is because my mother started getting big in the stomach like a mans beer gut but she wasnt eating no were near enough for that to happen then she started to look like she was carrying a baby and it was her liver and gallbladder iam not trying to scare you i hope this helps you figure out what the problem is
