This has been happening to me too! Ever since the end of fifth grade last year. It frustrates me so much because no other girls in my grade have the problem. I can't wear thin tee shirts like they can because I get HUGE pit-stains. My mom says "What do you want me to do about it?" and "It's probably just because your body is changing and you're going through puberty," but I just feel so alone. I am scared for this summer because it's easy to hide in the winter-I just wear a jacket everyday. I honestly do believe it is ruining my life. I really want to find a good type of deodorant that can make it stop! Please, someone help me! :$

Wow. I have been having this problem since last year, 7th grade (I was 13). I'm turning fourteen in 2 days. High school is next year and I'm really worried because I don't want to affect my last four years of school! I just want to have fun, you know? They say it's usually from puberty and that may be a good excuse for some, but I started my period in 6th grade. I didn't start sweating until about a year after I started. I think it's because I'm always SO nervous. I mean I'm always paranoid, I never walk first when I'm with someone (like I make them walk ahead of me) just because I'm afraid of being judged. I think I may need more confidence to stop this eternal sweating but thats not really going to happen anytime soon so I wish I could get something to help me until that can happen. I don't like to talk to anyone about it because it seems like no one has this problem. I sweat so bad, that it's visible with just the slightest lift of my arm, yet, it never stinks! I always use deoderant so thats probably why, it just doesn't stop the sweat stains part. It's even ruined some of my white shirts. Like others have said, even if its freezing I still sweat on my underarms. But it only happens when I'm around people. Like at school, in first period it starts, and when I go to the bathroom I try to dry the sweat stains with paper towels but it just comes right back! It kind of affects my schoolwork because I never raise my hand, and if I try to no one can see it. Oh, and like you said, if I'm having a "good day" like if I feel happy or comfortable I won' think about it, and it'll be fine. But if I'm worried about it from the start it just makes it worse. And I can't just not think about it. But as soon as I go home, it goes away. I hate this. Gee, isn't being a teenager just wonderful?8-|

Hi I am 13 years old and I am a female. I thought that I was writing that. I sweat all the time every day even if I am not nervous. It is so bad that I leave marks. If I am home with my family I dont sweat but as soon as I go some where with people I dont know or even my friends I sweat a lot. I have tried everything and I dont know what to do about it. My friends say stuff about it and I feel really sad. I always wear a sweat shirt so that people cant see it. I went to adventure land for school a couple of days ago and I was wearing my sweat shirt. My band teacher said that we had to take off our sweat shirts off when we preformed and I was so scared. I took it off and I had a huge mark. I was so scared that people would see it that I sweat even more. I hate my life now because I cant be myself because I sweat so much! I feel like I am lost and nothing is going to fix it. My friends dont have sweating problems and they dont even sweat after gym or anything.  Please help me!!!

hi i had the exact same problem around 3 years ago THINGS THAT HELPED ME:

* i shaved my armpits whenever hair appeared this helps quite alot

* wash your armpits and dry thouroughly before putting on your deodrant

* dont put your top on until the deodrant has dried

* use a spray not a roll on, sprays are much more dry and dont have as much moisture in them

hope this helped you xxx

hi im almost 18 and i've been having this problem since i was 16. it sucks. i have to wear white shirts or sleeveless shirts all the time. i've tried dozens of anti-perspirants including sweatblock, and i even got prescription stuff for it, but nothing helped. it doesnt happen at home, unless im talking with people that arent in my family. i think its a mental thing and a physical thing, im gonna try drysol cuz i hear that it works.

Hey, im a 15 year old male and i have the exact same problem. I think that you just have to brave the storm for a few years and if it doesnt stop, then you need to consult your doctor about it. Dont be embarrassed about seeing a doctor, everything is completely discreet. Im so glad that im not the only person with this problem!!!!!!! Oh, and gel antiperspirant is good stuff too. And if your antiperspirant fails one day, just go into the bathroom and place paper towels under your arms. It really can help.

I have had this same problem since I was 12. (I am 15 now.) I wear sweatshirts a lot. (hmm... wonder why they are called that?)

This year I *finally* found a really good deodorant available in lots of stores. It is a men's gel deodorant, but it does not have that overpowering smell that most men's deodorant's have. It is called men Degree Deodorant - SILVER ION TECHNOLOGY - INTENSE SPORT  (  =

It doesn't stain my clothes and I no longer have to deal with the feeling of sweat running down my armpit in the middle of the day and be afraid to take off my jacket (even though it means I sweat even more due to the heat being on in the English classroom).:-|

I don't worry about wearing/ruining white shirts anymore! although, I have become goth/emo over the last year so i don't wear much white anymore but still, if i want to wear white i wouldn't have a problem with sweat stains!

I just sweat when i hold my emote or pencil for like 5 seconds. It's so weird. Then I realized it was the lotion I was using. I switched to a new brand and now everything is all better. But, the funny thing is, I have been using the same type of lotion when I was 7 ( its my favorite type of lotion) and the sweating started when I was 12. Isn't it strange?
