Ever since my pregnacy my daughter weighted in at 8lbs. 8oz. and she completely streched my stomach. It has been 13 months and I have been trying to lose the stubborn belly fat and no luck. I've done pilates and no cigar. Is there any suggestions? Or should I just consider liposuction? I need help, I'm a 20 year old single mother who works full time and attends school part time. And I hardly ever eat!!! What is going on with me??
Hi there

Just try to eat healthy out of the things you do eat, try things with less sodium and try light foods or "low fat" also can try walking alot. Good luck with things

You don't mention whether you still have weight to lose after having your baby or whether it is specifically your tummy fat that is the problem. In terms of general weight loss it sounds like you need to eat more - I know that sounds weird but you could be messing up your metabolism by not eating well and regularly. I know the only time I lost weight and kept it off was when I started eating good portions of food regularly and exercising 3 times a week doing weights and CV. Good luck!!

I have found a solution to get rid of that and tone and tighten your belly fat. It has worked for numerous people besides myself. I too was very frustrated.

I too was very frustrated about getting rid of the belly fat, I had one child and there now was the excess skin that I couldn't get rid of no matter what I tried to do. The elasticity in the skin was gone and I had to find a natural alternative to do it without surgery. Liposuction is very dangerous and causes a lot of trauma to the body with long term effects. I have found a solution to my problem and it has put the elasticity back in my skin the belly fat is really stretched sking from being pregnant.

Girl, I am in the exact same boat. Im 21, full time student/ part time work, Aiden weighed 8lbs 13oz and is now going on 13 months, and being single makes it 20 times harder to do...well.. anything! We cant just run or make a trip to the gym whenever we want. Even at home videos are hard to master because when the babys sleeping, im either doing the same or completing my other hundred tasks around the house. I want my belly fat gone so bad because it just doesnt feel like a part of me. I was 125 when I got pregnant, and quite frankly, I loved my body! Im especially disapointed this time of year, everyone getting into their teeny bikinis and i have to accept the harsh fact that I will never wear one again. I wish I had some great miracle diet and exercise plan for ya but I dont. Just wanted to let you know your not alone. But if you find a way, let me know! (wouldnt mind the stretch marks gone either)

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with losing belly fat! When I first started working out, I concentrated on a few areas of my body to trim them up but nothing seemed to work. A friend of mine told me that it turns out that you have to work out your entire body and change your diet if you want to start seeing any loss of weight in your body. Unfortunately you can't make belly fat go away--your entire body fat percentage goes down and your body loses fat the way it wants to, not the way you do. Hopefully that helps you a bit!

HI I AM A 25 YEAR OLD MOTHER OF A 9 AND A HALF MONTH OLD DAUGHTER AND I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. I LOST WEIGHT EVRYWHERE ELSE BESIDES MY BELLY. I AM 5 FEET AND 8 INCHES TALL AND WEIGH 136 POUNDS, BUT IT IS ALL BELLY FAT. I WAS ONLY 113 POUNDS. IT IS FUSTRATING AND I REALLY WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE.

I am sure it's not easy to get rid of the belly fat. I would recommend to go to a fitness center to get an individual workout plan. The coaches there should know what you have to do to get your belly in shape. Proabaly you also have to change your eating habits, maybe a diet plan would help, too.

I am totally going to back up what Konrad said. If you are trying to only get rid of belly fat, then you have to work out harder than you do now at it unfortunately. You have to diet and exercise to get the body you want and make sacrifices because you cannot just work out one area and get a body that you want. Does that make sense?

A year ago I had a baby and put 3 stones on. I am starting to lose this with exercise and diet but I'm worried about having a sagging and wrinkly belly as I had a lot of stretch marks. I am 21. Any suggestions?
