Very interested in more information about this including any remedies - more or less constant rectal pressure or discomfort for around 8 months - find it debilitating - within this period, internal hemorrhoids banded 3 times - subsequently nothing found by doctors, but more or less constant rectal pressure or discomfort remains.

Last year I took DE diatomaceous earth fir 15 days and I passed a 12 inch take worm .better check this out I'm not so sure that's what's going on .worm meds don't kill tape worms .it was very scary all that came out was water from my rectum and that Parisite .They say if u have one you have many .I'm getting ready to do it again .you can feel them move around while taking DE ...make sure it's food headache .good luck .

I had the same sensations (pressure on rectum and pain when urinating.....guy thing). This morning I started drinking pure water with with barley grass ( 1 tsp) for each 8 oz glass). I also drank green smoothies with 1/3 banana, coconut milk (i tsp full...mix with water and 1/3 pear. I did this EVERY HOUR since 7:30am the pressure is now gone on the rectum (now 4:30 pm) and urination pain is gone. Also your "fear" may placing too much stress on u and causing pain in the area......yes that can actually b possible. Walk a little if you can to get your mind on something else. You are overdoing it with the prune juice. (Steady Health .."constant rectal pressure).

How are you now ? I have had pressure in my.bum.and pain since i had to have 2 operations on my lungs ..i had severe constipation after both of my operations and have not been right since . You say to try germaloids suppositries ? Are you still okay , since taking them ? What i mean is have your symptoms not come back ..? I would love to hear from you , as im thinking of trying them myself . I hope that they help me . I will keep you posted . Many Thanks

I am not a doctor but you sound like you have a lot of inflammation internally. You won't like this, but you really do need to go see a doctor.
I have the same problem. Still no answer. Not painful but uncomfortable. I have different sensations throughout the day. Sigmoid showed nothing.
I am still dealing with it. Doctors seem to not even get it. Natural path maybe next.

I have mentioned (rectal) prolapse to doctor(s) (I had some instances of severe constipation) - they have not mentioned finding prolapse.
I wonder about possibility of neurological cause (nerve disorder) - I wonder how this could be established and treated.
I have also read about muscle cramp - I wonder how this could be established and treated - my discomfort is not episodic.

most of their post...they went to doctor and specialist....true we need to see a doctor but sometime we need this post to have a little comfort that we are not alone that the doctors can't give...
That happened to me. Cyst removed and ovary removed. Other ovary formed a cyst which was found to be adhesed(stuck) to bowel and bladder. After surgery to remove 2nd ovary is when they discovered this.
Ovary removed, adhesions removed and problem of bladder infections , pressure in bowel instantly cured.
I was young but had no plans to have more children so it was a win win for me.

I had spine surgery and one of the screws in my back eventually was in my psoas muscle I have a lot of rectal pressure what test do they do to find out.
