I have SIBO too! Really painful! I've been on long term antibiotics- every time I had gone off it came back with a vengeance! No fun! I never know when it will strike. I gained weight and am quite bloated, which bothers me most! Best of luck to you all.

i have the same issue . I am now disabled because the doctors said I had Rheumatoid arthritis and have never treated me for my "food Pain". I am now 110lbs went all the way to 98lbs because of the same issue.
I have seen over 50 doctors. from Miami to New York and have not had any relief. except with trying tons of "natural" remedies. I have changed my diet drastically. I can only drink water No other liquids. I have another appt at NYU on june 1st 2017. will let you know what happens. Good Luck.

IBS!
Sorry if this is an old thread, I came across it looking for answers as to why I HAVE to be sick once a day to avoid all sorts of pain and nausea.
Anyway, from what your first post stated it sounds very much like irritable bowl syndrome.. which I suffer with.
I'm 21 nearly 22.. currently weigh 9 stone 7 but can drop down to 8stone 11 from day to day.
I suffer with gas and indigestion, nausea.. frequent bowl movements after I eat and a lot of the time with abdominal pain or a burning sensation which can one day be after eating something particular but eat the same the next day and it won't affect me. I have been tested for Celtic diseas gluten intolerance and dairy intolerance and they all came back clear. I am bloated all the time accept first thing in the morning and my abdominals always her, like mad. I cry and have water bottles all the time from the pain. I'm on mebeverine prescription tablets along with over the counter buscopan (anti spasmodics) and a mixture of lanzoprizole and ranitidine. These lessen my symptoms but do not take them away fully just make them bearable MOsT of the time. I've had these issues for over 10 years and the only thing I've found to work is cannabis. It is illigal in my country and I stopped taking it about 3 years ago and since then my problems have increased a whole lot leading to more medications, frequent panic attacks due to health anxiety leading me to believe my stomach is rupturing or something nasty and a few ambulances being called out for the pain in which they end up saying they can't find anything wrong. I am yet to take the h pylori breath test which is a test for a bacterium infection in your intestines that can lead to peptic ulcers which can give you the side affects myself and you have.
Look up ibs and suggest it to your doctor. Also, peppermint seems to help me and I try to have one fizzy drink a day to help me release any built up gas through burping as my body stores it and refuses to let it go due to extra acid in my stomach.
It could also be a sense of acid reflux or GERD. There's many things, don't give up with your go demand more tests, try low food map diets and drink a lot of water.
Also probiotics help.. and there are some supplements that are good for your digestive system that may also Help too(:

This sounds like bile induced diarrhea. When the stomach is empty it fills with bile, new food comes down and pushes said bile into the intestines causing excruciating pain, gas and diarrhea. This started for me when I had my gall bladder taken out. Cholestrimine powder works wonders!!!! It's prescription only and a powder but when I was on it I never had any problems. Also try to always keep a little something in your stomach and Imodium helps also.

Google delayed gastric emptying or gastroparesis may be what's going on it's hard to get diagnosed some drs don't even seem to know about it but from what I'm reading some of you have the symptoms took years for a dr to even mention it and I couldn't believe when I read the information he gave me it was everything I had dealt with for years

My husband experienced the same thing (very sick) after his cholecystectomy. He started taking Fiber One and all symptoms went away. He has not been on Fiber One for years now and is doing great.

Going off of what you explained you eat and your symptoms that follow immediately after it is very likely you have an allergy to gluten. It’s called celiac disease and it is common.
Basically you are allergic to bread and bread products/derivatives (anything made with gluten, wheat, barely, rye).
Eating cereal, sandwiches, subs, etc. are all gluten products.
Solution: stop eating gluten and you’re health should increase immediately.
I found out I had it when I was 17 ( I had the same symptoms as you) I stopped eating gluten and wheat that day and it changed my health and my life drastically, I turned into a new person! (Im 28 now)
How to: You have to learn and become aware of food, nutrition and ingredients. Gluten and wheat are in almost everything and all cheap foods. You have to read the ingredients in everything and always ask questions when eating out and shopping. It may seem overwhelming at first however once you realize the health benefits you are able to feel better and do more with your life it makes it all easy.
There are gluten-free versions of everything so you can transition to those to help with the process without completely losing the foods you are familiar with.
Try it! It’s only beneficial and you have everything to gain! Best of luck.

I went to Greece for a week with my mates and it's my second day back. I'm feeling sick all time, my belly hurts, and I can't eat properly. I could easily be sick but trying not to. Did I catch something?
