I had a LAVH 2 short days ago. I am 27 and a mother of 4 children so for me this decision came pretty easy until I thought I would do a little research on Google and let me tell you....do not do that!!!! I got a lot of false information and literally almost talked myself out of surgery. I suffered from an enlarged uterus and endometriosis so living with the chronic pain and debilitating periods I decided this was best for me. It has only been 2 days and I am still tired and will tire out very easily which is to he expected. No appetite really. And mild cramping but other than that I can already tell I will not regret this a day out of my life. Thank god my Dr left my ovaries, said they were in good condition and I was too young to be thrown into menopause. One thing I am still scared about is weight gain which so far I have not had issues with but again only been 2 days!!! Is this something to be expected????? Good luck to all and thanks for any help
