I am 15 weight lift and run everyday and have been since i was 11 and i have a weird feeling its slowing my growth what should i do? And is this bad?
Hi Joe,
Weight lifting can be a healthy activity IF you use proper technique and don't try to lift excessively heavy loads repetitively. Running is a fine sport and very good for you too.
Remember with both, take a break now and then. Your muscles need time to heal and recover.
It's unlikely either is slowing your growth. You should have had a growth spurt by now or be in the middle of one. After that your growth will slow until you reach your final height.
