I have an IUD in and think I could be pregnant;

i am having the same thing I have the copper paragard. I am 20 years old n have a one year old. my sons father an I r no longer together.. last month I had the only what u wipe brown discharge and this month it was the same thing but I actually bled for less than 5 hours..

Hi. I've had the paragaurd for going on 3 years. Here lately i have been very nauseated. I have also had a brownish/red discharge and minor cramps. What could it be.

I had my mirena since may and Ihaven't had my period could I be preg ? I had a lil brown discharge but only for a couple days

my iud came out a lil more than 3months ago my period has always been like clock work this month it was five days early and i only bled one morning nothing in afternoon could i be pregnant

I have had the mirena since May of last year. I don't have periods with this, but here recently the past 3 days when i wipe there is blood on the tissue. At first it was brownish then light pink and now its reddish. I don't know what this means so if anyone could help me I would appreciate it. I also have had cramping here and there. Does this mean I could be pregnant?? Thanks in advance.

Hi I was on the Depo fr over 8yrs. Left it last year November 2013? Got my reculer period now after my 1rst papsmeer had Sex on and of my period but now this month 2014 the 14th started my period by just a spot then the 15th had it going till the 18th? It was kla, but Finishd of with a brown discharge then the 19th had like a Light brown Discharge again with a tiny little bit of Blood good I be pregnant for my husband and I dnt have Eney Kids and would love to have pls need Advice (asap)

I've had mirena almost five years,period stopped a year after getting it.i have experienced occasional spotting,now my period has been on four days bright red and just started cramping.is this normal?

Hi, I'm 30 years old and have had the Mirena for almost 3 years now without a single problem, but I am almost positive I'm pregnant. My lower stomach/uterus wall is hardening and I don't feel very good the past couple days, nausiated. In the past I have been able to tell right away when i became pregnant, literally the night of conception, which is why I'm worried now. In all honesty, I haven't paid attention the past 3 years to whether or not the strings are there or not. My period has stopped entirely and has been that way since about 6 months after having it inserted. I know that's normal with the Mirena, but I also thought that you should have it removed after 3 years, therefore I was starting to think that maybe it just started to wear off and not be effective anymore. But then I'm reading now that you can keep it in for 5 years. Does anyone know? I'm confused. It is possible that it has moved in the past I would assume, although I never was in pain or anything. I don't have any discharge of any particular color like previous posts are mentioning. I don't know when to even take a pregnancy test at this point bc I have no idea when a "missed period" would be. Can anyone help? Thanks.

My story is similar to yours.. Iv had my copper coil in 5 years after my second child was born.. I had my period 2weeks ago like but was light just 4 a few days.. Ni I'm getting streaks of blood through discharge.. And don't no what's happening.. And feeling sick and tired.. There is no chance I could be pregnant could there???

Hi, I have had the coil for exactly a year and since having it inserted my periods have always been heavier than they ever were before. The coil is still in place but instead of my period I have brown discharge, at first I thought nothing of it as this usually happens and it's always been followed by a normal (heavy) flow in the past, but this time it's just continued to be light brown discharge.
My boobs are really tender and I'm also feeling really irritable, but could this just be pms?

My partner and I cannot wait to start a family but i don't want to get his hopes up if this is just a really light period and pms im experiencing. Please help! Any advice would be really appreciated :)

Hello! I've had paragard for 5 years and have never had any issues. I ended my period on August 10th 2015 and started having brown spotting/discharge 3 days later with light-medium cramps ever since. It has been 11 days and still no change, along with increased food cravings especially last week. I have an appointment with my OB mid September. Does anybody have any insight?? Thank you!

No, not if the test said negative. I have been having the same problems, very light pinkish blood. I was told by my obgyn that cramping, and light blood, even brown blood are all very common when you have the IUD, it's side effects of the IUD itself .I wouldn't worry too much, the pregnancy test said negative. Also, the odds of you getting pregnant on the IUD are fairly low, these things I keep trying to tell myself lately. I have all those symptoms as well as bloated and so uncomfortable in my stomach, it feels so full all the time. Also I have so much gas in my stomach. I would still definitely go to the doctor. But try not to worry to much. Think of the odds. Also I get horrible heart burn lately, is that normal for PMS?
