You will get used to his larger size but it will take a little bit of time and patience as your vaginal walls have to stretch out to accommodate him, not only once but all the time now so just like working out your muscles will need to adjust to. You are doing all the right things with the lube, etc keep that up as well or you will/would be a lot sorer. Patience is all you need.
If you are not ever after couple and you are with an average size Joe Blow again he may seem small to you as you have the larger than average, abstinence will make the vaginal walls tighter again but again it's time and patience.
