Try avoiding gluten and see what happens. I could be way off beam but this was my scanario - and still is. If I 'push my luck' with gluten (especially wheat but it used to be barley, and rye too) -- this is my 'warning sign'. If I were to carry on eating gluten I get far worse symptoms (I won't cover these in detail here).

I have had cases of cystic acne break outs on my neck. They usual appear when I'm not doing enough cardio. The cardio drains the lactic acid and flushes other toxins out of the body; helping to prevent cysts. My cysts actually became smaller after integrating more cardio in my spare time. Also, lymphatic drainage massgae. You can learn the techniques on YouTube. I have used some of these massage techniques and instantly felt results.

Ok I have been dealing with these pimple like things on my neck for about 5 years. I am 13.I have no idea what they are and my mom said that they are something that will never go away and if you touch them it will only spread or make it worst so I have learned to just not touch it

I have a similar problem. I've been getting small bumps on the back of my neck around my hair line. They are not pimples. They start to get sore and red, then scab and eventually go away. They last a week or two. Ill get 1-3 at a time. They are hard in the center and about 1/8" I'm diameter. if I try to pop them they just get inflamed. It's weird because I don't have any warts and I've never had much acne. More than just wanting them to go away, I want to know what the cause is and why my body is reacting this way. I eat healthy, exercise and drink a lot of water. I don't drink or smoke. Any help would be awesome. thanks.

Everyone who gets these has a food sensitivity!!!! I've done elimination diets and found out I get these when I have dark chocolate, almonds, dairy, gluten and eggs. I break out with at least 10-15 when I have eggs. It takes about 3-5 hours for me to get a reaction with eggs. Dark chocolate is longer--like 12-18 hours. It could be something totally different for you. If you really don't want to get them anymore, you need to do an elimination diet. Try the book, The Plan. It says it's for weight loss, but truly it's to find what foods you are sensitive to. These "pimples" are an inflammatory response from your body--so listen to it. Good luck!

Dumbest answer ever. The bumps and redness do NOT sound like a brown recluse spider. @@

So I took tetracycline / lymecycline anti biotic for my acne. it worked as long as I was taking it.
I have been dealing with this issue for ages, but it only started maybe 6 months of continuous use of the tablets.
Upon further googling and reading up, I thought why not google tetracycline with my symptoms. Turns out the tablets kill some flora in your stomach that are good for you and allow a bad gut bacteria to over populate. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC414232/

So I have altered my diet to a gluten free diet for a few months and started taking a probiotic to re populate the good bacteria.
