I need some info about oligodendroglioma for that is how my dad is being diagnosed last week. It is been a while he had severe headaches followed by nausea and vomiting lately so his doc advised him to have some CT scan and the result is oligodendroglioma and I know it is some type of brain tumor but I would appreciate some further info regarding this oligodendroglioma condition and how it is usually treated. Thanks!
Hello! You haven't mentioned of what stage your dad's oligodendroglioma is and weather it is malignant brain tumor or not. My dad had surgery 2 years ago and he was diagnosed with oligodendroglioma stage 1 so I would say he was lucky enough not to have some more serious form of oligodendroglioma and the surgery was the best opt for him though it takes some risks in sense of hurting some other healthy brain tissues but in my dad's case everything went ok. Anyway being diagnosed with oligodendroglioma means that glial cells-those are the cells that are protecting and supporting nerve brain cells have become cancerous and when it comes to the oligodendroglioma diagnose that is of much severe form than usually the surgery is followed by radio and chemo therapy.
I need some info on heart palpitations
