hey, i'm 15 years old girl and i have never had sex and i'm not sexually active. I've been getting itchy around my pubic hair area and i dont' know why. When i scrach it goes away but it will come back a bit later. I don't know what to do its been like this for almost a month. Sometime my anal area will get itchy but not like the pubic area mainly around the upper part where theres the first opening and it mainly itchy on one side it look like closer to my hair line that there is a patch where theres less hair. could you please help me is it the kind of soap i use or could it be from being in a bathing suit most of the summer i'm just kind of concerened since its being going on for a month. please help and could you give me some symptom and some problems it could be and if this is a problem and i need to see a doctor... the area also get irratated after i scratch it . I reckon you should see a dermatologist and have this itching checked. I am sure you will get some relief from the treatment a doctor will prescribe.

Usually the problem goes away on its own but if you caught the bacteria from the public swimming pool, sauna or someone else’s bathroom, it may be harder to get rid of.
