I'm 17 and I'm pregnant I really didn't have problems getting pregnant but my boyfriend and had sex a week before my period and I found out 5weeks later I was pregnant

I laugh at some of the comments I read on here. Judging a 17 year old girl, because she wants to be a mother. First of all, I can't stand others who sit back and have the nerve to judge other people. Some of the best moms I know are moms who have had children at young ages. If a young woman is WANTING to give love and are to a child, I see nothing wrong with it. Yes, it would be the "right" thing to do if she were married, but I also see no issue as long as the father with be involved as well. Being able to financially support this child is a necessity. So having a job, saving some money.. Those things can easily be done! Now, on the other hand, a woman who is in a marriage, has an amazing job, making a large amount of income can turn out to the worst parent possible! Or even a teenager who isn't trying to get pregnant, but ends up pregnant. That's a completely different story. Myself, I graduated high school with my diploma and college credits at 16 years old. Continue my college credits online. Got married at 17 years old. Now am pregnant with my husband who has a great job. Yes we do have enough money for this child. Yes I did graduate high school. Yes I am furthering my schooling and will get a career. Yes I am having a baby at 17 and I am married. Yes I am 100% capable of taking care of a baby on my own. Do I have experience? A matter of fact, I do! 7 years of helping raise my siblings as well as working at a daycare for 3 years. Times may get tough. It may be hard, but these are things every new mom deals with. It's life, everything can be difficult at times, but I won't let any judgement from others affect me, my life or my family. Took me 6 months to concieve. Keep trying ladies out there ttc!

Ur bf is 9 years older than you.....would he even be a good father or run off and make u do all the work with the baby if u had one?! Have u thought about that.... Sorry just saying

Okay ? Who cares if she's still in highschool ? I'm 17 and sitting here pregnant and happy . Me and my boyfriend are financially stable for our child it's not impossible . So stop saying kids who are 17 are to young or something like that . Teens on their first baby are no different then a 20 something year old with their first they're both going in blind . You need to step back and think and take a look . You and all these other people who think we're "to young" if it makes us happy LEAVE US ALONE thank you :) have a nice day

I agree with everyone else, you have plenty of time to have a child, 17 is a bit young for it and also your under age, and if your having sex with someone over 17 it's not legal to even have a baby with them, so i think you should wait to have a child, around 17 is when hormones, your brain and your body start changing a whole lot too like hugely fast, i've noticed a lot of changes in my own thinking, understanding of things, changes in my body and nipple shape and hormones since 17, i'm now 26, 27 this year and i STILL feel like i'm going through some changes. I would recommend to wait until your at least 23 to have a child, until your body has gone through some of those adult changes. Take it slow, don't be in such a hurry to have a child because you have SO SO much to live for, life isn't all about babies and a family.

Sorry but I'm only 17 me and my partner have been living out if home for about a year have never ever struggled as we both work full time and have a steady income, just because of someone's age doesn't define if they can be responsible enough or not. So you really shouldn't put her down for wanting a child

If I've been trying to have a baby for 2 years and still nothing and I'm 18 years old, does that mean I can't have kids? Could y'all please help me understand why I haven't gotten pregnant? Am I infertile?
