Implanon Removed - Strange symptoms - awaiting period

hi i just got my implanon taken out today like u i had the weight gain, tiredness irregular bleeding n spotting but worst of all the most horrible mood swings/ depression it was a curse of a thing so im looking forward to returning to some what my old self again :D :D there should be more info on the side effects of implanon when i was gettin it in i was never told of any of these symptoms if i had been told i don't think i would have got it in

I know this is old but I wanted to add that I was having the same symptoms 2 weeks after having the implanon removed. I was with my husband 2 days before having it out, then due to his work, he wasnt here therefore after. I even got faint positive pregnancy test but I went to the doc and got a blood and urin test done yesterday. Both negative. Took two more test this moring with fmu and both negative. I have decided that if I was I am not anymore. I tell you all this bc I scoured the internet looking for anyone in my situation that fell pregnant and had trouble finding anthing. So, here it is for all you reading blog after blog after forum after forum. That was my experince. I had REALLY bad cramping yesterday, so bad I was wondering if I was going to be one of those chicks that was pregnant and didnt even know it going into labor ( i have had 3 so I know what labor feels like) but then if felt like something moved in my uterus and then the cramps stopped, no more pregnancy positive test, all the symptoms stoped but still no period. Since the blood test was negative I am going to start the nuva ring today. Good luck to everyone!

  OK I HAD MY IMPLANON REMOVED 2WEEKS AGO AFTER  I GOT IT REMOVED I GOT THE DEPO SHOT I  BEEN BLEEDING HEAVY EVER SINCE.... DID ANY OF U GET  ANOTHA BIRTH CONTROL AFTERWARDS?

I am on the nuva ring but I didn't start it until 2 weeks and 3 days after the implanon was removed, after the negative pregnancy tests came back.  I haven't had any bleeding as of yet, not sure if waiting 2 weeks to start the nuva ring is going to mess up getting my cycle on track though.  :/   It has been 3 weeks yesterday (since removal and 5 days since starting nr) and I woke up really ill this morning.  I am pretty sure it was something I ate but I will let you all know if anything comes of it.

I had an implant in for about 6 months. I then had it removed to try and conceive my second child. I conceived really quickly with my first little girl so i got a bit worried when I didnt fall quickly with my second. me and my hubbi had sex nearly every day, i tracked my cycle and i also did ovulation tests (these always came back negative) but then finally 6 months later I was pregnant!!!!

I have just had my second implant removed and want to try for my 3rd child.This time i have had spotting and cramping on the day of removal is this normal has anyone else had this???

Hi gemm I have my stomach is killing me and iv started to bleed but its bright tired two I had mine took out because I was putting on loads of weight and after reading up the side effects

I am going to get my implanon removed because I have put on lots of weight, have sore nipples and am very stressed and emotional. I took a pregnancy test before but it was negative. I just don't know about this implanon!

I had my implant out on monday as my husband and I have decided that we'd like to try for a baby after 9 years together.

Yesterday evening I started getting a dragging sensation in my groin area, and was wondering if this was normal symptoms of having the implant removal.  We had intercourse last night, and today the dragging sensation feels worse, almost like a period pain, or the pain you get just before your period starts.  I have had the impant for 7yrs 3months, and the Dr said when removing it that I should expect a period in about 4-5 weeks but if we were to try for a pregnancy I could well be pregnant next week. All the time that I had the implant I didn't have a period, so i'm not even sure when my period is due.  So how will I know when i'm ovulating?

It cab b difficult 2 tell wen ur ovulating. Some peoples fertility and monthly cycles return 2 normal quickly and others wont. My best advice is not 2 worry about it 2 much and just have intercourse as much as possible!

Hey I havw had my implanon remvoed for a month now after having it for 2 years. Getting it removed was truly painful. I have had not had a period since removal which is scary cause I do have unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I thought I was pregnant I took 3 test and all were negative. The doctor said it could take a month or 2 to get everything back to normal but since I have had it removed I am very emtional cried while intercourse no reason why lower back pain something horrible sore nipples higher sex drive breaking out something feirce hard time going number 2 supposedly all this is normal i dont think i have ever wanted my period to come so bad and get normal again.

 so were you pregnant or not?? and i had the same kind of stuff happen to me..i got mine taken out August 13th then on the 16th i had a some what period i bled for a day and the other 2days was spotting where i didnt need a pad or liner. Then this month im very late than usual and had a spot of blood 2days ago but still no period. the dr told me that 2 tests came back negative..maybe too soon to tell?? idk yet but im curious if anybody else has some what same symptoms or came out pregnant...me and my bf dont mind another one just kinda worried if theres something wrong with me or something lol but if anyone has any feedback taht would be great.

Hey guys,Im new to this aswell and Im in the same sort of situation and also looking for any advice,Iam 23 years old and had my implant removed in july,as myself and my partner would like a family,not trying persae,just if it happens :) i had my first implant put in when i was 17,and the next 3 years after,ive always had irregular periods,come when they like lol but would still take them monthly,like others i was told that i would return to normal within a week,however i have had nothing,no signs atall,i have taken a few pregnancy tests and all have been negative,im not sure whats going on xxxxxxx
