Hey I was on nexplanon for three years and I had all the symptoms u have I was told that it makes your body feel pregnant to keep u from getting pregnant I believe the side effects of it sucks but it a good no baby birth control
I had my implant out over 4 months ago. I had spotting 2 weeks after and since then have not had a period at all. I've done various pregnancy tests through out this time and they've all come back negative. I haven't lost anyway weight and am actually struggling to stabilise it. My nipples are sore and I'm always tired. Trying to book an appointment to see someone though is proving near impossible.
Yes!!!! I just got it taken out yesterday... Had sex everyday until yesterday... Was thinking about getting a blood drawn test for the pregnancy but I'm freaking out since in only 19 and and my bf/fiance is 22. I didn't know about the 7 day rule either... Best of luck to you!!!

I am in the same position would really like some help! I'm freaking out I've had the rod out for two weeks, sore nipples, feeling sick, eating heaps, feeling exhausted. I've had the rod in a few timea and usually get my period the day after or next and have had unprotected sex I've done a pregnancy test and has also came up negative.
The device tricks your body into thinking it's pregnant so these side Effects are very normal and what should actually happen. I'm like many others though that hasn't stopped bleeding since I had it in. Xx
I'm having the exact same thing and can't handle andother baby , my breasts are so sore and all the above symptoms I'm just hoping my period comes soon!! Going to take another test today I can't take it anymore!! Good luck to you x
I got told off the gp it can take at least 6 months for periods to become regular again. When I did ask him he did say how long is a piece of string until I looked at him seriously. I got my implant removed while I was on my period and av had migraines nausea loose bowel head aches apparently everyone is different a friend of mine didn't have symptoms at all.. I came off it as periods were lasting at least 16 days and my patience was very thin and ad cry at the drop of a hat. I am also gettin hot flushes it's awful.
i have the same issue now. . . i got my period but its very light like water. . idk if im pregnant or not!!
Hi can someone pls set my mind at ease be4 I go 2 the doctor. I had my implant remove early this month, I had my period be4 it has been removed 4 more then 2weeks and after it had been removed my bladder is paining I have cramps can't even sit down quickly have to sit down on a chair slowly. Is this normal?
Hi, I had mine out 10 days ago, for the first week i had avery heavy period and then nothing but 4 days ago started to suffer with the most horrendous stomach cramps, the doctor is saying its normal but im not so sure its like being in constant labour and i am in agony on and of. Would love to know if anyone has had this as i am worried.
I had mine removed about six months ago and my cramps were pretty bad and now last a week and a half to two weeks, so what your dealing with is probably normal. If you had it in for a few years I have read that it may take a year for your body to level out your hormones again.
In addition to my bad cramps I've got permanent nerve damage where the Dr. was carelessly sawing at my arm to get the implanon cut out of my skin. It was a convenient solution to contraception, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

So is everything normal again? Do you feel normal and how long did it take?
I have had side effects such as bad spotting some mild pain and my arm hurt for a week. This birth controll seems to have side effects after it's removed.
