Hello! I am almost 50 and would like to hear some info on atrophic vaginitis for I know my elder friend has some problems regarding this atrophic vaginitis and for she is not of much talk on this issue I would like to hear something more on this so I could protect myself from certain disconformities when it comes to it. So is there anyone to tell me some info on atrophic vaginitis?
My mother had some atrophic vaginitis problems and she entered the menopause early at around her 50-es anyway this atrophic vaginitis is common in postmenopausal period and is usually caused by the vaginal tissue deterioration which means that vaginal tissue at this life period is pretty much damaged according the fact that the upper cell levels is almost gone and those layer bellow are so vulnerable that it can cause you itches, burning sensation but also some inflammation such as frequent need to urinate or even vaginal discharge. My mom was using some lubricants or it was more something like some estrogen creams and she was even taking some estrogen pills and there is an other atrophic vaginitis treatment called Estring –which is in fact estrogen ring alike that is about to be placed in vagina. Anyway if you are about to have these symptoms don’t miss to get some atrophic vaginitis treatment for I know if not treated it might lead to some other vaginal infections such as Candida, Gardnerella or Trichomonas –once you get them it is hard to eliminate them.
