How about if you can get the nipple out and pierce it using one of those nipple shields like Janet Jackson was wearing at the Superbowl reveal?

I don't know if it is helpful, but I had the same a few years ago and have recently noticed a problem again. The infection and inversion was resolved after a course of antibiotics for another problem and I had taken fluconazole for thrush treatment produced by the pharmacist. Applying antiseptic iodine to the nipple area for a few days made all the difference for me. This is only my own experience, I am not a doctor!! Please go to your doctor for diagnosis and treatment. My own doctor turned me away, telling me that unless I was breastfeeding, it could not be an infection- an assertion which was refuted by another doctor and the evidence!

I have a fibrocystic disease in my breasts. I have to see a surgeon annually as well as having a mammogram. My left nipple is now inverted. Does this mean anything?
