hi,

im 19 and at 17 i had horrible periods they were iregular and they were painfull. at 14 i got my period and by the time i was 17 i only had my period about 15 times through 4 years, docters tried everything. even the pill wldnt help. so the docter did a unltrasound and told me i PCOS so all my worries went away. after that he gave me pain killers for the pain and birth control.
but 3 months after they told me it would be inpossible to have to children three months later i was preagnant with my daughter. the docter told me it was a mircle and to me it was a BIG SUPRISE. so just let it happen when it happens i guess.
now my daughter is 1 and im trying for a child with my hudband but for some reason i just cant get pregnant. and we have been trying for one year. so i say just let it come when it wants to come. but if you have pain and iregular periods go to the docter straight away!!!

:-) hope it helps

I've been having the same problem only i'm 21 and according to my doctor there is nothing wrong with me. No cysts no nothing but yet i'm having irregular periods can't seem to get prego and am now having large clots with my menstruation and it seems like i am always on my period lately and it sucks. My hubby and i just got married a couple weeks ago but have been together for over 4 years and have always wanted to have kids. We never use condoms or birth control to help our chances but it's been over 3 years and still no baby. I did however have a "possible miscarriage" last january but the doctor said it was too early if i was pregnant to tell all i had was 3 positive and 3 neg tests which is why i checked then the extreme bleeding began and it was just a mess. I'm a little over weight and smoke i know those can be contributing factors but my sister is over weight smokes and drinks and has 3 beautiful children. Anyone know what i can do or what is happening?

Im 19 years old,my periods have always been irregular except when i was on birth control when i was about 13.I stopped takeing them 3 months after i started. Now i'm trying to get pregnant to start a family but i've been trying for the last 7 months and im getting worried that i may not even be able to get pregnant. I decided that i would start takeing the birth control again to regulate my periods for a few months that way i'm ovulateing like im supose to be. Then im going to stop takeing them to try and get pregnant. if this doesn't work then i guess my fiancee and i are going to both go see the doctor to check if it's me that cant carry a child or if he isn't able to produce u know? does anyone have any feed back on this??????

I'm 19 and just experienced a pregnancy scare. I started my periods when I was 13 and they have always been irregular, but for the last 6 months I've been having 2 periods a month... I lost my virginity to my partner 8 weeks ago and had some really strange pregnancy symptoms though I've had two heavy periods since then and several negative pregnancy tests. I know I'm not pregnant, and I was surprised at how disappointed I was when I learnt I wasn't as the thought of having kids has rarely crossed my mind...I always thought it would happen later on. My GP told me today that because I was menstruating twice a month I probably wasn't ovulating and that I may have too much eostrogen...? I am just wondering how I can start ovulating again naturally. I'm not sure whether or not I want a baby yet, but I still want there to be a chance that I could get pregnant. I know it's silly, but I feel like less of a woman somehow...and I dont know how I even stopped ovulating in the first place. I want it to be my decision whether or not I want kids, not my body acting out...

I'm 24 years old. I also have irregular periods. As a matter of fact i didn't start my cycles till i was about 18 years old. I got pregnant when i was 20 years old. I was pregnant for about 4 months and didnt know.So dont worry bout not being about to conceve cause you have irregular period. It is very possible. I also thought the same way you did when i was 18. Now my husband and me are trying to get pregnant again its been a while but we are trying =) .

Hearing that women who have the same problems as me can still get pregnant gives me hope. I am 26 and I just got married in May. I went off birth control in January and have been trying to concieve since and figured I better start early. I had been on birth control since I was 16 and have had many problems and have cried many times. Everything was going good up until the wedding and I believe the stress is what got me messed up again and I haven't had a period until now. It's makeing up for the last 5 months. I am not having a happy period. I also wonder if I have polycystic ovarian syndrome like others have mentioned in their posts. The doctors don't know what they are talking about sometimes. Just don't give up cause I'm not.

It's a beautiful thing that there is a community of like minded people who come together trying to help one another. From my experiences there is ways to get pregnant naturally and I've used 2 of the ways to add 3 beautiful children to my family. I describe some of the things I went through and what worked on my blog. ***edited by moderator*** web addresses not allowed

Hi Inez,
Its so sorry to know the same. Try consulting some good gynecs.. May be this site ***edited by moderator*** web addresses not allowed can provide you with some help.

Still i would advice you to relax as much as you can and develop the orgasm required to get pregnant.

Wow several abortions??? And I have been married going on 15 years with unprotected sex and no kids... I don't understand people that have all these abortions and they have kids?? Abortions are the sadest things I have ever seen... Do you not think that there is a baby in there getting ripped into pieces?? I have done things right as far as not having unprotected sex with any Joe, Tom, penis or Harry and been unsuccessful getting pregnant, and this girl unashamed says she has not had 1 abortion but several... WOW!!!

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any help towards my sucess in getting pregnant.

I've been trying to use numerous "ovulation calendars" online to try to calculate

when i'm most likely to become pregnant. My period has always been quite irregular,

although when I was on birth control in the past it was regulated.

Last month I began bleeding on October 14th and it lasted 6 or 7 days ,

this month it began on november 27th.  It always seems to be 2 weeks late but never

ive never been able to track it to a set date it would begin.

Please Help !!!

Im 23 years old and i have irregular periods. when i was 18 me and my husband had been trying to get pregnant for 18 months and nothin seemed to work. my doctor put me on the pill to regulate my period for three months and it worked soon as i quit taking it i ended up pregnant the following month. when i was 5 months pregnant i found out i was having a boy and a week later i had another ultra sound and they had told me he had died when he was born they said the reason for it was because his cord was so thin that it cut off all his blood oxygen and food supply well two months later i found out i was pregnant again well i was six weeks pregnant and found out that this one didnt have a heart beat so i went through a miscarraige they told me it was probablly because i got pregnant too soon after losing my son. well noww its been almost 4 years since all of this and i can not seem to get pregnant no matter how much i have sex or what i do can someone please help me or give me advice on what i need to do in order to concieve????
