I'm currently training for the Army ROTC 4 Year Scholarship and i need to do 1 minute of push ups and ab crunches and a mile in about 8 minutes preferably less.

Right now i can do 3.5 miles in a road that has some minor hills in 31 minutes 32 seconds. About 50 push ups and about 50 ab crunches comfortably.

I've been hearing all about these supplements in stores like GNC. The adverse effects they might have and also the ridiculous prices that they have worry me so i decided to make my own blend for energy aids to take before my training sessions. Is the following a good blend or should i change it someway?

1 banana
1 cup of milk
1 tsp (puertorican) coffee
1 tsp of honey
1 tsp Canola oil
1 tsp oatmeal or 34g of Spiru-Tein (I'm removing the spiru-tein from my blend recipe after i finish the 2 cups of mix i have)

- Spray of ground cinnamon (For taste)
- Drops of almond extract (For taste)


Any Suggestions?
Btw I'm 18, i weigh 130 pounds and I'm 5 feet 3 inches.
