I'm sorry that you are having such a hard time with your spinal tap. Today after 6 weeks I am feeling weird where they did mine and I never had problems before...
How did you know that you were having a problem? Thank you

Hi My name CeCe and I'm suffering with the same symptoms you have ,from my Lp last month now it has gotten worse to the point that can barely walk , did u ever get an diagnosis, or did anything help or ease the pain , I pray you are doing better, hope to hear from u soon
Hi I'm having the same exact symptoms, has your pain gone away since your last post I'm just very curious because I'm in agony everyday, please respond back if u can Thanks a lot
My husband had a ATV accident, but walked away from it. A week later started having chest pain, which we learned was coming from his spine. He had a very bad infection in his back and was treated with antibiotics. All this time he was walking, about 6 weeks after his accident, he was put in the hospital with high fever and delirium, CT showed an epidural abscess and a fracture. (still able to walk). He had a lumbar puncture that night, the next morning, they told me he was paralyzed. They did emergency surgery on him the next night. But he has never moved or had feeling since. He had a 2nd surgery, still totally paralyzed. I really feel in my heart that the spinal tap (lumbar puncture) caused the paralysis. Causing a spinal stroke.

Find a good lawyer. They have ruined your quality of life.
I once went thru the doc for arm problems, and was sent for a signal test because they couldn't figure it out. It turns out that the signal going through my arm was much less than it should be, due to a pinched nerve in my elbow. The problem with this, is that my hand and forearm were getting smaller because of the lack of signal... So my thought, is that the LP issue is something like a blockage of signal to the lower extremities. I say this, because I had a LP done four years ago. I have all of these problems you have,l. With the added joy of weak legs, smaller muscle size, and I no longer have a butt big enough to even see... My pants fall off constantly. Its a theory, but most likely why we all have issues. I was stuck five times wrongly, then they used xrays to guide them. Even when my leg was on "fire". They still had a hard time.
My doctor told me you can die. It is rare. It was even in the paperwork.
You can actually die, by herniation of the brain base, but it's extremely uncommon, and normally due to other adjacent problems.
I was the same easy but I got better after a couple weeks I just kept walking and doing what I need even in pain
I don’t believe it was the spinal tap I think it was due to the epidural abscess
I had two done in December as the first doctor failed to collect any fluid, I'm dying in pain
I am in the exact same boat, and simply nobody in my house understands my pain i would say it is debilitating and crippling, i spend most nights in the week crying out in pain its been 2years since my spinal tap. I am 26yrs old now and yeh even something so small like doing the vacume will have me IN PAINSSS ALL night too?!?! Ur not crazy at all trust me...
Wow I feel you I'm 45 and I had 7 spinal taps in the Last 4 years and the pain is the worst have you tried to burn the nerves
