For more years that I care to remember I have always liked my back to be scratched, but over the last few years, my itchy back is driving me mad. It is not localised to one area other than the entire back and there is no rash, blisters, or spots. I have searched the web and can find nothing that resembles my problem. Scratching relieves the itch for a few minutes but it always returns.
