a few days ago i wore a pair of underwear that rubbed me raw in another area. after work i came home, changed underwear and put neosporin on the raw area. the day after doing this my right labia was swelled and extremely itchy. i've been cleaning it with peroxide and going back and forth a few times a day between keeping neosporin on it and baby power to keep it dry. i have noticed 5-6 spots on the labia that have puss in them, like pimples, but not. i am hoping that this is a reaction to the underwear rubbing and irritating the area, but the itching is literally driving me insane. nothing is alleviating the itching and it's only one the right labia in the swelled area. i have no odd discharge or other side effects that would make one think of an STD or yeast infection.
any ideas on what else i can do to alleviate the itching and to expedite the healing process? i really don't think it's necessary to see a doctor because i know it's nothing serious. i just want some relief!

Try using Vagisil. Also, take a bath and use Epson Salt. Once you are finished with your bath don't use panties that night. Just your Pj bottoms or whatever. This should help.
i've been trying to go pantyless as much as possible since it's the weekend. i have epson salt, but never thought to use it.
